History

The Distress of Ro-Titanic, April 1912

Greyrock was on its 3rd journey on April 1912 when it suddenly received a distress call from the Ro-Titanic. Although it was only 16 miles away, by the time it reached there the ship already sunk and no survivors were found. It went to continue on its journey.

The Cherbourg Incident, December 1912

As Greyrock was on its 4th journey two tankers collided and a explosion occurred, since Greyrock was near it a fire began on the Bow and continued until it reached the cargo hold where the fire was put out. However, it caused the ship to sink a little.

Its Demise Met, 1913

Greyrock was on its 6th journey from Port Korsakov, as it was going away from Port Korsakov however, it collided with a rock, rupturing the keel and pouring water to the cargo hold, all water-tight doors managed to close but water continued to pour in, the crew realized the ship was going to sink. The ship sank faster as the bow sinks and the bow tower falls. All lifeboats managed to deploy; the funnel fell before the entire ship fell to the waters. Only 12 make it out alive, Ships were sent to pick the lifeboats although Collapsible lifeboat C managed to reach Port Korsakov again. Out of the 25 people, only 12 survived with 13 dead.
