The Shoreline Checkpoint, officially known by the Robloxia and West Bloxadian governments as part of a joint agreement as the King Aran Tau Border Checkpoint and Bridge is a multimodal port of entry between Robloxia and West Bloxadi .It accepts vehicles, pedestrians and as well as trains, and has a nearby cargo terminal where containers will be carried to the nearby Port Of Shoreline because the height of the bridge means that most large freight ships cannot clear it.
History
In the year 1984, a border checkpoint train station was built on this site. However, it was only for train passengers arriving in Robloxia, so they would not have to get off at Shoreline North to be screened for customs. In 1997, a proposal to create a new border crossing to relieve traffic at the Northern Gateway Tunnel, was investigated. The two countries held meetings on the subject and came up with a R$487 million plan to build a new one. In 2004, the process of land reclamation began, and it ended in 2006. Construction on the vehicle lines and the Integrated Customs Area (ICA) tower began in 2006. In 2010, it finally opened, and the train station was converted to allow for people from the general public to board.

A single platform train station serves the border checkpoint. It opened in 1984 for passengers entering Robloxia, but had no facilities for those leaving, so passengers leaving via rail needed to check in at Shoreline station or Bayview Central, until 2010. It is owned and operated by the Eastern Robloxia Railroad Corporation , which leases the tracks for Trans-Robloxian Railway trains to use the station, which operates five-times an hour shuttles to West Bloxadi King Street station.
Future
When the new purple line extension of the Bay View Metro opens, it will allow passengers to ride to the “customs transfer” station which will have passengers enter the checkpoint, and be led to a “sterile area” platform where the train will then go to the sterile area platform, so cleared passengers can board trains into West Bloxadi, this station will be shut down and moved to a different location, to be determined.
