Seed Airlines Airport (formerly known as Roblox International Airport) is an international airport serving Bloxburg City, alongside La Gran Guardia and Coeptus International Airport. It is also the headquarters of Seed Airlines. It was built to serve as the replacement hub for Seed Airlines, after Terminal 6 West was demolished at BAX airport.
Seed Airlines Airport is owned and managed by Seed Airlines.
History:
On November 4, 2014, Seed Airlines’s former hub at Terminal 6 West at BAX airport was demolished. The aging wing of the terminal was formerly used for seaplanes but had been converted for land plane use. Seed airlines had formerly relocated to La Grande Guardiã airport until the new airport could be finished in 2017.
In 2015, Seed Airlines Airport and legoseed were nominated for the best place in Robloxia and best architect in Robloxia, respectively, in the 77th Annual Bloxy Awards.
In 2016, the eastern runway #32 was extended 200 feet, making it 7,200 feet long, to allow for longer planes to land.
On November 6, 2019, Thundermaker300 was appointed as the new CEO after legoseed retired. He announced that the airport will be recreated under the title "Seed Airlines Airport Remastered". Since then, a new architect, Scepticus, has joined the employment team. A roadmap has been created for the remastered airport and voting for destinations has been announced. Additionally, applications to visit the airport while it is still in its recreation stage have opened up.
In February 2020, the new concourse C was approved by the Bloxburg County Aviation authority. It finally broke ground in 2021, and the first walls were visible in July 2021. A historic statue of Noobly Bloxington, temporarily moved from terminal 6 and stored in the Bloxburg Museum of Fine Arts’ Vault, was recently moved in a van and lowered via crane onto a pedestal in the new concourse, then it was drilled down, then it was welded to the base, according to the Bloxburg Times. The statue is 7.3 feet tall and weighs 820 pounds and was transported with the help of a winch.
