The main encyclopedia's logo will always reign supreme over some art cult.
On August 5, 2025, the Robloxiapedia community was surprised to encounter another encyclopedia with the same name. This marked the first occurrence in 22 months and 4 days that Robloxiapedia faced this issue.
Background
Robloxiapedia, which is a Fandom encyclopedia established on December 19, 2024, had only three staff members, namely Abornate, Decryptables, and MastercTheOofer, the second of which had obviously and trivially not learned their lesson on October 2023 when they used the domain name of robloxiapedia again. The first staff member had been described as talking pure cult nonsense. The third is unknown.
At that time, the Fandom encyclopedia consisted of just five pages, one of which served as the main page for the entire encyclopedia. The tone of the pages was described a creepy, odd, semi-theistic, satanic, dark, and crazy, and it seemed to be the main hub of an art cult. Evidence of it being satanic include a image file of a painting of hell with Baphomet, a goat being placed on one of its articles. Most of the pages were written using esoteric jargon and appear to describe difficult topics. Most of the pages were last edited on December 2024 by those two staff members, implying that the encyclopedia had been abandoned. Some of the pages had red links, indicating that they had intentions to make the encyclopedia grow beyond its size before they scrapped those intentions.
Meanwhile, the forum of the said encyclopedia was where a user named Hang2424 would be befuddled because the encyclopedia was not about Robloxia. However, Decryptables said "what is this, another mind to save?", hinting that the staff members were against the larger Robloxiapedia because it is implied by them to have corrupted minds.
Incident
The "Discovery"
Prior to the encyclopedia being shut down, on August 5, 2025, Manul decided to search on the Internet "Robloxiapedia spawnism". To his surprise, he was directed to an encyclopedia that is absolutely nothing related to the video game of Roblox. At that time, he was presumably the first one to have discovered the encyclopedia. An hour later, it had been revealed that the encyclopedia had been discovered much earlier, namely on December 23, 2024, when Hang2424 was browsing the encyclopedia and was immediately confused on why the encyclopedia was not about Robloxia. It is presumed Hang2424 was the first to browse the encyclopedia, but he was silent and did not any Robloxiapedia staff members about the trademark infringement incident. Yellow Puma Plus was the second, though he also did not tell any Robloxiapedia staff members because he was blocked on Robloxiapedia. Despite all of this, Manul was the first to tell Robloxiapedia staff about the incident.
The Takedown
Two hours after the initial discovery, Robloxiapedia staff members would tell the staff members of the encyclopedia to immediately cease using the encyclopedia's name or they might be referred to Fandom staff. Three hours after the initial discovery, it was originally planned for the encyclopedia to be deleted automatically by Fandom for prolonged inactivity before immediate action were to be taken by CORALREF.
Eventually, the encyclopedia was shut down six hours after it was initially reported. It would be the last the staff would ever hear from Decryptables and Abornate until they discovered the true Robloxiapedia.
Post-Incident
After this deletion was completed, Decryptables would go on to the true Robloxiapedia and would respond "lol" in response to an image on Discuss showing one of his replies. This immediately sparked panic among the Robloxiapedia staff members as users were concerned that they might be arriving here to seek revenge on the encyclopedia being deleted or even considering an infiltration. Even ChikoritaTheRobloxian was alarmed. To this end, ChikoritaTheRobloxian made a decision to ban Decryptables from the encyclopedia for repeated trademark infringement.
Later, Abornate would continue with the cult nonsense, proceeding to say "the wheel spins well", to which they would receive a swift retribution by being banned from the encyclopedia for being a potential leader of the art cult they created.
Out of the three staff members, only one remains to be confronted.
Meanwhile, Notanoob820 had proceeded to create a document writing the incident from an unique in-universe perspective. That document would later be criticized by the staff of the infringed encyclopedia for portraying them in a negative light, even though it was written in a fictional perspective.
Bureaucratic Response
ChikoritaTheRobloxian was planned to confront the staff members by sending them a trademark infringement message on their message walls, but had scrapped this knowing that the encyclopedia has been deleted and that it might be construed as legal action. ChikoritaTheRobloxian has decided to address the trademark infringement, stating that the Robloxiapedia name was used without authorization (while stating that future usage of the Robloxiapedia name is subject to bureaucratic approval and authorization) and that the encyclopedia name confused editors and potential viewers of Robloxiapedia. He also stated that the encyclopedia itself was a intellectual property rights violation and that the response to the injunction was informal. He also told Robloxiapedia users to report future instances of infringement to staff members immediately. The talks to have the Robloxiapedia URL changed to robloxiapedia.fandom.com, effectively parking its domain, once again resurfaced, this time with a legitimate reason: to prevent a third copyright infringement from occurring.
Staff Response from TomatoDaPwzer
Later, ChikoritaTheRobloxian on October 22, 2025, was informed that the purpose of the encyclopedia was to store Elder Scroll writings and not an art cult encyclopedia, as originally feared by Robloxiapedia users in the past. This was the reason why on October 21, 2025, articles featuring the staff of that encyclopedia and portraying them in a negative light had to be deleted by Fandom authorities. Work is on the way to unban Abornate, as the reason provided (possible cult leader) is now debunked, but it is unknown if Abornate will ever edit Robloxiapedia in response to this (since this comes at an era where Robloxiapedia has tightened screening and making the encyclopedia strictly invite-only, prohibiting any new user from editing Robloxiapedia unless permission is granted by staff due to possible attacks by enemies). Therefore, ChikoritaTheRobloxian has argued to uphold the ban until the attack threat has been revoked.
