Saviors of Roblox (TV Show)

2Saviors of Roblox is a television show made based on the organization of the same name for the streaming service RBO Max. The show was created by James Hozἇ. The show was based on his experiences with the organization when he was still a part of the organization. The show was highly praised and criticized for its uncensored version of the organization. The show has four seasons with thirty one episodes.

Premise

In Wurja, James Rudding (played by Kyle Franson) reads "Book for the Saviors: Part One, The Facts", and then feels inclined to join the organization, due to him believing what the book "teached" him. He calls the phone-number in the book, and then he is brought to a facility, in a blue outfit, with a blue mask on him, and then he is brought to a classroom. He then ends up learning about the Saviors of Roblox, and he ends up passing the test. He is then promoted to become a Level 1 Savior. He is forced to do tasks he was not ready to do, such as killing people. He then befriends another savior; Daniel Front (played by Madison Horon); and they vow to deflect and end the organization.

Production

Season 1

Season 1 began production on January 18th, 2019. James Hozἇ wrote the entire script for the first season first. According to him, he said, "the script is always the hardest part of making a show, but I also did it so that I could fully see the potential of the actors, because the script can be partially finished to get stars, but when it's fully finished you see the best work" . He also ordered a box of DVD-R's in order to present the script in a video matter to show to the actors to show them what their character was supposed to act like. The sets of the show in which they were in the headquarters was donated by RBO Max from their previous show "Shark Game" which was based on the the operation of the same name. They repainted and rebuilt the set in order to make it more like their bunkers. For the scenes with Robloxia City, they actually filmed in Robloxia City with the use of practical effects being used on both types of sets because "the one thing better than digital effects, is practical effects, since you actually had to build the sets, you actually do the stunts, you had to do everything. Sure we used digital effects here and there, but the majority is digital effects" as described by James Hozἇ. He then started casting the characters, and he chose Kyle Franson due to his work with James Hozἇ only other project at the time, Die Easy. He also casted Madison Horon due to her incredible way to play criminals and villains.

Season 2

Season 2 began production on December 3rd, 2021. Like in season 1, James Hozἇ wrote the entire script for the season. He also prioritized on writing the script, because he wanted to introduce even more characters to the show.

Reception

Critical Reception

The show was the recipient of really good ratings by critics. The show was praised for its uncensored reality of the Saviors of Roblox, and what they actually do. It was also received very well for its plot, which is often considered one of the best plots for a show in recent years. The show was "The best Action Thriller TV Series of all time" by the Robloxian Post, and "The best show to be released on RBO Max" by the Campa Critic.
