Sauthemptona Airport is the main airport/gateway for the Corporatist Republic of Sauthemptona. It consists of one terminal, a few hangars (one is used for cargo) and a helipad.

History

Early Time

In 1881, an airstrip was built on the southern side of Sauthemptona. It consisted of one hangar, a small terminal and a dirt runway. However, it was first used as a race track. Until 1944, no planes flew to the airstrip.

First runway repavement and expansion

In 2003, the runway was repaved from dirt to bitumin. The terminal was also expanded and another hangar was built. A helipad was also built in the airport in 2006.

Second runway repavement

In 2012, the runway was repaved again, this time to asphalt. The runway pavement is the same as it is today, asphalt.
