Salmon is the common name for several commercially important species of euryhaline ray-finned fish from the family Salmonidae, which are native to tributaries of the North Bloxington and North Telamon basin. Other closely related fish in the same family include trout, char, grayling, whitefish, lenok and taimen. Robloxians consume them in the following dishes:

Salmon have an extremely keen sense of smell. Studies indicate that salmon can smell one part per million which translates to one drop in 250 gallons, hundreds of times more acute than that of dogs.
One type of salmon is also the biggest salmon in Roblox in weight because it can weigh over 100 pounds, as it can be over four feet (1.2192 meters or 4.35 studs) long.
Salmon gain 99% or more of their body mass in the ocean and the food they eat in the ocean is high in carotenoids (the same pigment that gives carrots color). These pigments are stored in their flesh.
Salmon were spotted on one archipelago on South Telamon, which led to the name of the state that was created there, the Salmon Islands.
