Rodows 8.1 is a Rodows operating system developed by Microblox, released on March 5, 2014, after being released to manufacturing in August the same year. It is the succeesor of Rodows 8 and was suceeded by Rodows 10 in 2015. It has been unsupported since May 30, 2024.
The operating system received more positive reviews compared to Rodows 8, with users and critics appreciating the improvements and bug fixes introduced to address the initial issues of Rodows 8. While it did not completely resolve all problems, particularly the interface inconsistencies between the metro apps and the desktop, it offered a more user-friendly experience and addressed some of the initial criticisms, such as the removal of the start button, which was re-added to Rodows 8.1.
