The Robloxity Rapid Transit (RART) is an electrified commuter rail network in the Robloxian city of Robloxity and its metropolitan area. The system was founded in 1954 after the cancellation of a proposed subway system to run across the said city.
History
When we founded RART, our goal was to provide safer public transport for Robloxity, better than ever. Before our foundation, there wasn't very much transport to collect passengers, but we came up with a solution. A safe rail network with the highest quality trains we have ever came up with. We are NOT going anywhere, and neither are you
Since the year 1925, a subway has been planned for the city-county of Robloxity . The first plan, drawn up in 1925 had called for a streetcar tunnel, where streetcars from the surface run in a tunnel through the city center. The plan was approved by the city council, and a cut was made under Downtown Crossing, stretching for 320 feet. The Great Depression caused the construction to be cancelled, and it was forgotten until 1953 when a new plan was made, calling for three lines intersecting at Downtown Crossing. However, by 1960, the plans were redrawn to have one hybrid metro-commuter rail train that would have branches that stretched closer into the suburbs. Construction begin in 1963 and the line first opened in 1968, between the underground Bend Quarter station in the downtown tunnel, to the South Grove station, on a 31 mile long alignment. The first trains were provided by Robloxian Dynamics, which built 54 5-car trains at its plant in Buenos Lagos. In 1971, A train driver was arrested for sneaking illegal drugs in the depot, he was fired and later freed two years later.
In 1984, the extension to the airport opened.
Transport for Robloxity announced they would purchase RART in 2012 for 500 million Robux.

The system has only one line, but has 7 branches off from the main line. In the future, the Line A of the metro will take over the Two Hills branch past Brentwood, and Line B will take over the Airport Branch past Bloxy Grove.

Incidents
Robloxity Area Rapid Transit Accident of 1984
A train crashed into a school bus in 1984. Two students who were in the bus were mildly injured, and a nearby pedestrian was killed after walking past the barriers when the train was coming, and the train driver was badly injured. After that, RART begun to remove grade crossings, and as of 2025, there are only 14 left in the system.
Robloxity Area Rapid Transit Accident of March 17, 2014
On March 17, 2014, two trains headed for Glass Eye Station collided at Pearse Station. The first train was parked on the platform when it was hit from behind by another train. The reason was that the train that was coming behind had a technical failure in the brakes and it could not stop, increasing the speed more. 5 people died and 36 were injured, all of these on both trains.

Trivia
- It is a parody of Dublin Area Rapid Transit (DART), a real-life rail network that operates in Dublin, Ireland.
- The railway is commonly mistaken as a metro due to the word “rapid transit” in the railways name.
- The City Centre station is planned to get a massive revamp due to it being a small but extremely busy station.
