Sometimes, Robloxiapedia may restrict users from editing existing articles or creating new articles on certain Robloxiapedia topics. This is to prevent Robloxiapedia from becoming too focused in one particular topic or particular topics. While a focus in Roblox is required in Robloxiapedia (otherwise it would be a general fan fiction encyclopedia), Robloxiapedia has to do this to prevent the encyclopedia image and help users realize this is a Roblox fan fiction encyclopedia and not an encyclopedia on one specific topic. This is where Robloxiapedia's Overused Topics Policy comes in to play.
The New Policy
- Effective June 10, 2025, all users without the staff permission can only create three new articles per week per user on the current overused topics list. If a user is found making more than three articles per week, they will be blocked until the end of the week, but their articles will be kept. Excessively abusing the previous clause will result in prolonged blocks.
- Overused topics may be added or removed to this list if a general consensus of users agree that the topic is overused or underused.
The Original Policy
Update: This policy has been found to be illegal under the platform's Terms of Service. This policy is no longer being enforced as a consequence. Please refer to the new policy.
- Effective October 17, 2024, all users who edit an existing article or create a new article on certain Robloxiapedia topics will be subject to administrative staff-level screening procedures. The screening procedures will primarily involve getting the date of the first edit of the user (i.e. their join date)
- The user's account age will be calculated from this information.
- If their account age is less than a month, they will be banned on Robloxiapedia until their account age turns to one month.
- Otherwise, they will be marked exempt from screening and may continue to edit existing or create new articles on certain Robloxiapedia topics.
- Overused topics may be added or removed to this list if a general consensus of users agree that the topic is overused or underused.

- Furries/Anti-Furries

This policy will be reviewed monthly, and any topics in this list may be subject to alteration by staff.
