Who Are We

Robloxiapedia is an encyclopedia based online with a distributed workforce across the world. Our mission is to keep Robloxiapedia stable and growing. We believe Robloxiapedia is a foundation for Roblox fan potential, for freedom, for opportunity and everyone should have access to Robloxiapedia—for free, without restriction and limitation. We do this by creating a safe and supportive place to edit and view Robloxiapedia. We are growing rapidly and expanding our staff team.

About this Role

We are looking for a Robloxiapedia Staff Member who can do all of the below.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Moderating threads and content.

Occasional Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Rolling back undesirable contributions.
• Deleting and undeleting articles, article histories, and uploaded files.
• Protecting an article so it cannot be edited or moved by Robloxiapedians without staff rights.
• Blocking/banning internet protocol addresses or Robloxiapedians from contributing.
• Editing the interface by changing system messages and skins.
• Replying to business inquiries (should a business inquiry pop up in your message wall)

Optional Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Moderating a YouTube channel and creating content for it. (Please contact ChikoritaTheRobloxian with your YouTube channel so we can give you the appropriate roles)
• Moderating a Roblox group. (Please contact ChikoritaTheRobloxian with your Roblox username and join the Roblox group so we can give you the appropriate roles)
• Moderating a Discord server. (Please join the Discord and verify so we can give you the appropriate roles).

Requirements:

• You file an application.
• You are 13 and older.
• The time between your first edit and now is >1 year.

I am Robloxiapedia staff. Can I have bureaucrat?

Note: ChikoritaTheRobloxian will not promote staff to bureaucrats because the said process is irreversible and it can be difficult to convince bureaucrats, once they are promoted, to remove themselves from the position.

I was Robloxiapedia staff. Why was I fired, and can I get re-hired?

Perhaps that you were using your powers to violate the staff code of conduct. Robloxiapedia users who were recently fired can re-apply, but they have to explain to the bureaucrat that they know what they done in the past was considered "administrator abuse" and will not repeat it. Robloxiapedia users who get fired again, or as users, attack any Robloxiapedia staff member, are placed on our staff blacklist, meaning that we cannot hire those users due to potential or positional abuse.

Another reason is because of a staff layoff/reformation. The Robloxiapedia bureaucrat may choose to terminate staff employment for this reason in order to prevent the encyclopedia from being too authoritative, but it will not count as a strike against your position of staff.

So, what should I use my powers for?

Staff powers should and only be used to help keep Robloxiapedia clear of Robloxiapedians who make malicious contributions, such as vandalizing and spamming. Staff are just Robloxiapedians who are trusted to have a few extra powers and to use them for the benefit of Robloxiapedia.
