Winter Storm Ignatius-Jimenes-Kasandra-Leon (January 10, 2025 - January 21, 2025, though organization began on January 1, 2025)
On January 1, 2025, a surface low polar vortex rapidly manifested in the state of Kionne Republic and explosively intensified and deepened to 762.7 millibars, the lowest barometric pressure ever recorded in Robloxian history. At the same time, a similar surface low polar vortex manifested in Brookhaven, to the west of Bloxburg Valley, and had similar barometric pressure readings. At the periphery of the surface low polar vortex, winds reached 229.774 miles per hour, with gusts up to 313.546 miles per hour. Temperatures in the polar vortex would face temperature drops up to 128 degrees Fahrenheit below normal. Immediately, those two polar vortices began to be attracted to one another, orbiting a common center near the Southern Bloxifornia-Bloxorado border. On January 10, 2025, after orbiting for ten consecutive days, the two surface lows did what most Robloxian meteorologists feared: they merged and converged, turning into one large polar vortex as wide as two Robloxian states. The barometric pressure in the new polar vortex deepened further to 574.1 millibars; winds reached 304.2 miles per hour, and gusts reached 415.1 miles per hour. At this point, every city that was impacted with the polar vortex enjoyed temperatures that were 224.35 degrees Fahrenheit below normal. Eventually, winter storms eventually forced the polar vortex to move. One such winter storm was Winter Storm Ignatius. On January 11, Winter Storm Ignatius tapped into the large polar vortex. This created momentum that started to move the polar vortex southeast to Bloxorado. As it moved to Bloxorado, it weakened by 12 millibars due to it being over land. Winds and gusts weakened slightly to 300 miles per hour and 409.4 miles per hour respectively, and the polar vortex warmed slightly. On January 13, 2025, Winter Storm Jimenes tapped into the large polar vortex, and the pressure weakened by 45 millibars as it continued to travel southeast. Winds weakened tremendously to 197.7 miles per hour, but gusts still reached 387.2 miles per hour as it entered Blocahoma, and the polar vortex warmed considerably. On January 16, 2025, Winter Storm Kasandra tapped into the large polar vortex, causing the pressure to weaken by 101 millibars. Winds weakened to 165.94 miles per hour, but gusts still reached 324.96 miles per hour as it entered Bloxas. Finally, on January 21, 2025, Winter Storm Leon tapped into the large polar vortex, causing the pressure to weaken by 31 millibars, causing winds to weaken to 156.09 miles per hour, but gusts were at 305.67 miles per hour.
The Robloxia Weather Service initially classified Winter Storm Ignatius-Jimenes-Kasandra-Leon to be a epic Category 14 winter storm, but due to the fact that they were about to run out of synonyms for the word apocalyptic, they would still call it Category 14, but they would call it life-and-death rather than epic. This was owing to the encyclopedia publishers who were writing an article about the Robloxian Ice Age, and that the addition three new categories: Serious, Grave, and Epic, would result in the encyclopedia's timeline generation software breaking.
The "Nor'Easterecho" (January 22, 2025 - January 23, 2025)
As the now weakened and contracted polar vortex (it was now as wide as a state in the Robloxian West Coast) proceeded to enter the Gulf of Bloxico on January 25th, it tapped into a large reservoir of warm Gulf of Bloxico waters and sucked all the humid moisture out of it. It also froze the Gulf of Bloxico due to the sheer intensity of the cooling effects of the polar vortex. Afterwards, the polar vortex proceeded to curve counterclockwise as it approached the Gulf Coast of Blorida, and appeared to be dissolved, when it was simply creating an uncommon progressive derecho consisting primarily of 19 nuisance-like winter storms heading northeast. As a result, the Robloxia Weather Channel was unable to name any winter storms due to the primary list of 26 being exhausted, and was about to begin to use the highly controversial Greek alphabet (it was controversial due to the fact some Greek letters sound similar). As a result, Robloxia Weather Channel decided to use the Northern Bloxington Treaty Organization (NBTO) Alphabet. Winter Storm 32, the last winter storm of the progressive derecho, was named Winter Storm Foxtrot. The derecho moved at 65 miles per hour, which meant in some Robloxian states, it was possible to outrun the derecho simply by driving, assuming a lack of vehicular traffic, but unfortunately, there was vehicular traffic, primarily on Ro-Route 7, where the strongest impacts of the winter storms roughly paralleled. Aviation services, were crippled due to the snow, and many inbound flights had to be diverted to the mainland of the East Coast of Robloxia until the winter storm passed and the runways had been sufficiently snowplowed, while outbound flights were delayed due to nor'easter produced turbulence and the snowplowing of runways. The derecho became disorganized and eventually dissipated in New Bloxswick in Bloxanada,
Map plotting the January 22-23, 2025 Nor'Easter's track in Robloxia.
Impacts of the winter storm derecho varied throughout the Ro-Route 7 corridor, varying from nuisance to the comparatively extreme, but the Robloxia Weather Service decided to call every winter storm that formed a nuisance due to the presence of 40-70 miles per hour gusts in each winter storm throughout its entire lifespan. In the cities of Biami and Backsonville in Blorida, where snow falls once every at least 30 years, according to climatological records, Robloxians were surprised to see that a winter storm had formed this far south. Between Backsonville and Hagersblox, the winter storm derecho picked up in intensity due to what meteorologists called a "brown ice effect". This was a rare weather phenomenon that has being reported with hurricanes, but it has never before witnessed on a nor'easter, let alone in a progressive derecho of winter storms. It was simply created due to the recent snowfall in those regions. Meteorologists also said that the brown ice effect was the first sign that the Robloxian climate is easily fragile and could break apart into many shrapnel pieces, resulting in the ushering and strengthening of the Robloxian Ice Age. North of Hagersblox, Romaryland, where snow is common enough to be noted on climatological records, the snowfall was much welcomed. Robloxians of the East Coast north of Hagerblox had a snow event like any other on that day, with Robloxians in Burlington, Romaryland; Ro Dover, Bloxware; Ro Wilmington, Bloxware; Ro Philadelphia, Rosylvania; The Bronx, New Bloxia; Roalbany, New Bloxia; Queensville, Bhlode Island; Bloxston, Bloxaschusetts; Roncord, New Rampshire; and Bluesand City, Baine all having school and work off, though some switched to remote, asynchronous, or web-based work or school due to the state legislation necessitating this.
Meanwhile, the Noobly Bloxington Bridge, a bridge that opened in 1931, and had been the iconic suspension bridge between Bloxanhattan and New Rosey which allows pedestrians, after 94 years of being a marvel of civil engineering in Robloxia, started to exhibit behavior like the Tacoma Narrows Bridge in real life (1940) after the consistent and incessant periodicity of the 70 miles per hour gusts forced the bridge to gallop intensively. Eventually, the oscillations between the bridge became too much for the bridge to handle, causing the bridge to suffer catastrophic failure and its eventual collapse, sinking a lot of vehicles and pedestrians that were on the bridge during rush hour commuter traffic. Some pedestrians were lucky enough to rapidly convert to swimmers, but they had to swim fast before the river separating those two distinct areas froze due to the winter storms each having a bite of polar vortex in them. Meanwhile, as vehicles started to sink into the river, they had to call emergency services before pressurization of their cabins and car interiors started to force them to drown due to a lack of oxygen. Rescue and hospital helicopters were attempted to be sent to rescue them, but due to the gusty winds and turbulence, they had to wait until the turbulence was cleared before they could proceed with preparing the lifeline. Then, it is up to them to lower the stretchers for a lot of times, one for each vehicle submerged in the water, and one for each pedestrian who is unable to swim fast enough or simply cannot swim at all. Luckily, all of the Robloxians who were in the water were treated with cold water shock and hypothermia in the emergency room of the hospitals, and no one died. The bridge collapse also resulted in a gap in the routing of Ro-Route 7, and as such, Robloxians had to take a circuitous route around the affected area while the bridge was rebuilt, which was estimated to take at most four years. The civil engineers of Robloxia had designed a new bridge that would survive much higher winds than the original one. Some Robloxians protested that the new bridge would lose its status as a city and state icon, but the civil engineers proceeded on anyway. Ultimately, the bridge was opened to the public in 2029, and for the first few days, a festival took place on the new bridge where pedestrians were only allowed.
Back to the "present day". On January 24, 2025, Winter Storm Golf, the 33rd winter storm of this already apocalyptically active winter storm season, began to organize itself north of Bloxmark, North Dabloxa.
Winter Storm Golf (January 24th - January 26th)
A notable, cold-core low pressure system (to be esoterically specific, a 1004 millibar low) formed in the Bloxanadian state of Bloxaskatchewan and rode the jet stream south, temporarily hooking into Bloxmark, North Dabloxa on January 24 before resuming its ride in the jet stream. Winds of the system reached 74 miles per hour, with gusts of 86 miles per hour. Being of notable nature, Golf lacked major precipitation, but it brought sufficient instability that supported scattered thunder-snow across the western Robloxian Midwest on the 25th and 26th, with peak activity occurring in the early morning hours of January 26. While Golf was notable, it had sloppy physique and its peak activity occurred overnight, justifying why Golf's satellite appearance was very poor. Nonetheless, the thunder-snow and heavy snow shower activity lead to locally high totals. Additionally, some places saw lightning and hail, including the Robloxia Weather Service in Bloxmark, North Dabloxa; the city of Kent Hill, South Dabloxa; and the Robloxia Weather Service in Romaha, Nebloxa, the last of which saw pea-sized hail with hail diameters clocking in at 0.644 centimeters.
Hail in the outskirts of Romaha, Nebloxa from a thunderstorm associated with Golf before the thunderstorm transformed drastically into thunder snow.
The highest total in the western Robloxian Midwest was 29 feet in Lincolnville, with 11.2 feet falling in Kent Hill, 13 feet in Bloxmark, and 57 inches in Ropeka. As the jet stream carried its winter storm east, it brought snow too, albeit in lesser amounts owing to the winter storm weakening as it careened further inland. 76 inches fell in Lillewell, Rossota and 92 inches fell in Des Roines, Rowia. The Robloxia Weather Service in St. Bloxouis, Bloxissouri recorded 22.3 inches, almost all of which fell from a similar hail-producing thunder snow early on January 26th.
With Golf, snow totals in the east were higher than on the west. This was due to the classic phenomenon of lake effect snow. Cold air, originating from Bloxanada, moved across the open waters of Lake Hyperion. As the cold air passed over the unfrozen and relatively warm waters of Lake Hyperion, warmth and moisture were transferred into the lowest portion of the atmosphere. However, what confounded scientists was that as Golf moved east, it also froze Lake Hyperion, precluding the lake effect snow in the first place. Nonetheless, it did materialize. Greenville, Wisconsin, no stranger to snow, saw 39 feet of snow, whereas Redville, West Robloxia saw 63 feet of snow due to Brick Lake being simply an analytic continuation of the lake effect snow. In Rohio, totals were significantly lower, with most of the state seeing no precipitation at all due to Bloxtron Lake frozen solid.
The jet stream then took its winter storm to Rosylvania, where Golf dissipated.
Winter Storm Hotel / Snow Storm Aggie (January 27 - February 4)
Winter Storm Hotel, also known as Snow Storm Aggie, is the 34th winter storm.
Map plotting Winter Storm Hotel's track until it made landfall on Robloxia.[1]
On January 27, the Roghija Meteorological Agency began to investigate a powerful low pressure system, with 150 millibars of pressure at its eye, that just formed off the equator in the eastern coast of United Roblox of Indonesia, moving quickly to the northeast at 41 degrees compass heading. With gusts up to 824 miles per hour and winds at 709 miles per hour, one wind or even one gust in an area was enough to destroy modern Robloxian civilization in an area. Moving at 65 miles per hour, it made its first landfall in Ro Malaysia within 3 hours and 33 minutes of forming. By January 29, it had hit Neo-Japan, the country where the Roghija Meteorological Agency government offices are situated. The winds of the powerful low pressure system toppled utility poles, snapped tree branches, and uprooted trees, causing a massive knock down of power lines that were supplying power to the Roghija Meteorological Agency government offices which cumulated into a long-term power outage. Due to the power outage, the Roghija Meteorological Agency government offices were unable to monitor the powerful low pressure system. The Robloxia government temporarily annexed the Western Telamon Sea typhoon basin into their area of responsibility, wresting it completely, and swore to monitor the powerful low pressure system. Eventually, the powerful low pressure system passed through the Roblox Date Line when it was cruising at the 49th parallel on January 31, and that is when the Robloxia government noticed that the eye of the system had explosively cooled down to -230.49 degrees Celsius as it started to form a progressive derecho that spanned intensively from the 79th parallel to the 19th parallel.
Reaching the states of Balaska and Bloxwaii 10 hours later, the progressive derecho spanned such a large range of geographic latitudes that it even penetrated through the jet stream in the Bloxarctic Ocean. This officially meant that the progressive derecho was the first ever frontal system that can be called as a Telamon Frontal System and a Bloxarctic Frontal System. Experts stated that there were two different types of air masses clashing on the Telamon Sea; the unearthly cold air that was coming from the west, and the comparatively warm air that was predominating the air up to this point. The cold frontal system pushed the cold air towards the warm air, creating days so cold that it literally snowed in Island Town, as well as picking up winds.
In the Robloxian aviation industry, flights that normally had to fly over the Telamon Sea to get to their destinations were cancelled to due to the triple witching of thunder snow, wind shear, and heavy turbulence. Some flights were significantly delayed and protracted because they chose to fly east instead, resulting in delays due to refueling and the longer distance required to get to their destination. Despite this, most flights to and from Neo-Japan, Ro Malaysia, and United Roblox of Indonesia were simply cancelled due to the aforementioned power outages and the total destruction of large sections of air traffic control towers in those countries. Headwinds in the atmosphere exhibited volatility and rapidly changed to crosswinds and vice versa, resulting in a lot of landings being turned into go-arounds.
Eventually, the front started turn slowly to the east. Drifting towards Western Robloxia, Hotel was also able to tap into apocalyptically moist atmospheric conditions in the tropical Telamon, becoming potent and moisture packed as it inched closer to Western Robloxia. On February 1, Hotel reached the Western Robloxia coast. The system, unfazed, began to move east. As it did so, it sent a progressive derecho of heavy snow and snow shower activity into North Bloxmerica and Eurobloxia for the next 45 hours, bringing about the most prolific snow totals on record for the two continents ever recorded in recorded Robloxian history.
Starting midnight on February 1, a fast-moving band of very heavy snowfall moved into Western Robloxia, causing at least 16.9 feet of snow to fall across the region, with lower amounts in the Robloxian states of North Dabloxa, South Dabloxa, Nebloxa, Ro Kansas, Blocahoma, and Bloxas as the band weakened and split into a northeast moving progressive derecho and a southeast moving progressive derecho by the time it pushed east of the region border on 9AM. However, this band brought with it extremely heavy mountain snow and in the first 9 hours of Hotel, very snow-prone locations in the mountains had already picked up over 28.2 feet of snow, with most mountain locations above 6,500ft elevation gathering over 15,200 feet of snow.
In West South Central Robloxia, the sub-derecho tapped into moisture in the Gulf of Bloxico, formulating numerous bands of very heavy thunder snow that individually all reached supercell status due to due to presence of deep, persistently rotating updrafts and the sheer number of mesocyclones. Those mesocyclones later developed base velocity signatures indicating tornadoes as temperatures breached through convective temperatures, which resulted in a tornado outbreak in West South Central Robloxia. More about this tornado outbreak exists in a sub-heading titled February 2025 West South Central Robloxia Tornado Outbreak. Meanwhile, in Midwestern Robloxia, the sub-derecho tapped into moisture in Lake Hyperion, Brick Lake, and Bloxtron Lake, and became a very severe anticyclonic-rotating storm with numerous damage reports and serious social disruptions. Storm chasers on the ground reported everything that was from the right moving to the left, confirming the anticyclonic activity. Numerous bands of very heavy thunder snow turned into severe thunder snow events as gusts reached 60 miles per hour in those bands. After the severe weather calmed down, snow showers filled in the vacancy. Meanwhile, two surface lows were created. The first surface low was in Bloxuisiana and was weakened by a tornado before it proceeded to Blox Rouge. The second surface low was in Retropolis and was absorbed by the anticyclonic-rotating storm, causing the storm to dissipate. Additional snowfall totals ranged from 1.41 to 4.2 feet.
On 6PM, Hotel formed very heavy bands of snow that merged into a single, state wide band the moved from west to east through the state of Central Robloxia, bringing extremely very heavy snowfall for the state. What was extremely rare is that this resulted in snow drifting in places like Rokadia, with mountain ranges getting very heavy snowfall, with the unusually rare event of snowdrifts.
And now for something completely different. On February 2, 2025, midnight, Filip, a groundhog from Rosylvania, was reported deceased due to heart complications due to a combination of old age and hypothermia. Coroners reported that Filip has not emerged from his temporary home before sunrise in the past few days. Traditional experts say that they have not factored in the case Filip passes away. Robloxian climatological experts, wanting to play the tradition, simply, esoterically, and cryptically said that if Filip dies, Robloxia will have a winter that will last for four years, as evidenced by the Robloxian Ice Age concurring with his passing. There has not been a replacement of Filip until 2029, when an ethically cloned groundhog named Mena took over the prognostication. The reason for the delay was because the Robloxian Ice Age had literally drove the groundhogs in Rosylvania to extinction status, according to the Roblox Wildlife Foundation (RWF).
By 3AM, Hotel has centered itself in Rosylvania, causing widespread heavy snow to form over the Northeastern Robloxia region, moving northeast towards New Bloxswick, where it was slated to have dissipated off into the distance, but in reality, it was churning over the Bloxington Ocean.
On February 4, 2025, 1AM, the center of Hotel was now in the coast of Eurobloxia in the Northern Bloxington Ocean, and was very slowly pushing to the east towards Bloxia Island, Ro France, Ro-Spain, and Ro-Portugal, of which the Bloxia Island Meteorological Society named the winter storm Snow Storm Aggie. Carrying over from New Bloxwick, Aggie created a band of heavy snow, dumping record amounts of snow across the area. By 5:30AM, this band had went east into Bloxland, Whale, Romarkia, Ro-Switzerland, and the Bloxitarranean Sea, dropping more heavy snow across that region and causing the Bloxitarranean Sea to freeze, placing Eurobloxia's renowned Bloxitarranean climate into jeopardy and making this the first time the impacts of the Robloxian Ice Age were felt overseas and abroad. By 7:45 AM, the band had mostly dissipated, with widespread snow shower activity following. One particular very heavy snow shower developed over Ro-Geneve, and sat over the city for close to 48 minutes. In an 6 hour and 45 minute period on February 4, Ro-Geneve picked up over 28.2 feet of snow, adequate enough to shatter the city's previous 24 hour snowfall record into sharp shrapnel.
By 10AM, Aggie had impacted the countries of Romarkia and Ro-Switzerland and was quickly moving east into Ro-Czechia, Ro-Poland, New Romarkia, and Ro-Italy, as it rapidly weakened. Two-day snowfall totals in the storm were staggering, with most places in those countries receiving the bulk of the precipitation. Many places saw 45.1 feet of snow, culminating in some of the most widespread snow drifting in the entire history of Robloxian civilization in those countries. Streets in cities along the coasts of the cities were victims of snow drifts, which eventually expanded to an urban level. All roads victimized of at least one snow drift were closed at the snow drift for the first time in the road's history, and many low-lying areas were buried under snow drifts. The aforementioned snow drifting in Ro-Geneve created some of the city's worst snowdrifts on record, with homes and businesses being buried under snowdrifts. Beaches in those areas were closed as snowdrifts took over the sand. Aggie finally dissipated in the western half of Ro-Slovakia on February 4.
In non-mountainous places in the West Coast of Robloxia, the highest snowfall total was in Bloxeattle, where a whopping 200 feet of snow fell, shattering the statistic of the city's average yearly snowfall. Elsewhere, 58.7 feet fell in Deerfield, 110 feet in Island Town, and 55 feet in Sacramento. The Robloxia Weather Service in Bloxburg picked up so much snow that snow gauges and snow pillows overflowed and the antifreeze solution in the pillows froze solid, but according to meteorologist estimates, it was most likely 40.7 feet. Most other non-mountainous places in the West Coast of Robloxia saw between 16.9 and 33.8 feet of rainfall.
Snowfall totals from Hotel were more in inland than on the coast, as evidenced by Madison Megalopolis picking up 1,030 feet and having a rare blizzard. 369 feet fell in Las Bloxias, 423 feet fell in Harris, and 330 feet fell in Rolena Falls. 4,650 meters of snow fell in the mountains of Midwestern and West South Central Robloxia.
East of Midwestern and West South Central Robloxia, most places saw between 11.3 and 33.8 feet of snow. However, a few places saw more than 33.8 feet of snow. The highest totals were 86 feet in Anchburg, Romont; 57 feet in Rokadia, Central Robloxia; 64 feet fell in Robloxington, Balabama; 39 feet fell in Roncord, New Rampshire; 69 feet fell in Roalbany, New Bloxia; and 58 feet fell in Bluesand City, Baine.
Winter Storm Hotel had a huge climatological impact besides its trivial meteorological impact, with short-term climatologists even went further and predicted that Madison Megalopolis, as well as everywhere impacted by Winter Storm Hotel, would not recover from below freezing temperatures until April 2025 (for Madison Megalopolis) or even July 2025, meaning that while some storm doors could be closing in the middle of spring, others had to wait until the middle of summer.
Appendix 1: February 2025 West South Central Robloxia Tornado Outbreak
The February 2025 West South Central Robloxia Tornado Outbreak was a devastating tornado outbreak that occurred on February 1, 2025. It was considered to be the second notable tornado outbreak of the Robloxian Ice Age.
Of the 232 tornadoes that occurred on nine hours, an incredible 20 were rated EF5. There were also 32 rated EF4, meaning an astonishing 52 violent tornadoes occurred. One cyclic and large supercell produced a violent tornado family consisting primarily of eight family members, four of which tearing and affecting the state capitals of the West South Central Robloxia region, before its deep rotating updraft became too shallow due to its internal wind shear dying as well as large hailstones.
The outbreak occurred in one wave. A sub-derecho from Hotel's initial progressive derecho tapped into moisture in the Gulf of Bloxico, formulating numerous bands of very heavy thunder snow that individually all reached supercell status due to due to presence of deep, persistently rotating updrafts and the sheer number of mesocyclones, which went on to produce 232 tornadoes. Several cyclic and huge supercells produced more than eight tornadoes as well as huge hailstones. The outbreak lasted for a total of nine hours, from 0900 Central Robloxia Time to 1800 Central Robloxia Time. The strongest tornado, which had peak winds measured at 310 mph, tore through Ro Austin, devastating it. This tornado killed 420, becoming a deadly tornado in the region. It surpassed the Blocahoma City EF5 that occurred earlier in the outbreak, which killed 388.
From 9:00:37.24 AM to 11:07:14.48 AM, there were 16 EF3 tornadoes produced, with the longest having the path length of 244.8 miles. The other 15 EF3's all had path lengths of at least 120 miles. All 16 EF3's impacted small towns in mostly rural areas. The most impactful of the tornadoes was an EF2 that tore through downtown Ro Austin around 9:55:51.72 AM, killing eight. Significant damage was done, with hundreds of windows blown out of some of the tall buildings and the Bloxas Capitol. There were also power lines and trees knocked down. The majority of the tornadoes in the eastern half of the geographic region were EF0 or EF1's. Some of the notable tornadoes included the following:
2025 Small Town Tornado
This tornado touched down at 9:01:51.72 AM just a few miles to the northeast of a small town. It initially began collapsing the walls of small barns and farm outbuildings at EF1 strength but reached EF2 strength as it collapsed the exterior walls of a two-family residence. It continued producing EF2 damage as it moved a single-wide manufactured home, completely destroying it and blowing its debris away. As it approached a small town, it intensified to EF5 strength. It was at its strongest as it moved through the small town and crossed a double-wide manufactured home, completely destroying it and blowing its debris away. It quickly weakened to EF1 intensity as it crossed a river, went through a community, and visibly damaged an apartment. The tornado weakened to EF0 before lifting about five miles west of another community. It was on the ground for 120.6 miles. The tornado caused 0 fatalities but injured 40.
2025 Small Town Tornado 2
This tornado touched down at 9:04:57.93 AM just a few miles to the southwest of a small town. It produced EF1 damage as it moved through a town, with the uplifting of canopies over motel driveways. It began producing EF3 damage as it moved through a masonry apartment, collapsing its top story walls. It intensified to EF5 as it moved into the western part of a small town. Here, several small retail buildings were totally destroyed. Small professional buildings were totally destroyed. As the tornado moved off to the northeast, it weakened to EF1 strength. As it moved through another small town, it weakened further to EF0 and lifted a few miles southwest of a community. It was on the ground for 146 miles. Luckily, no fatalities were reported but there were 80 injuries.
2025 Small Town Tornado 3
This tornado touched down at 9:06:49.66 AM just a few miles SE of a small town. It intensified to EF3 strength as it moved through a town. Here it caused the collapse of exterior walls in a strip mall, leaving behind closely spaced interior walls. As it moved NE through a large shopping mall, collapsing the exterior walls of the top story, it intensified to EF5 and maintained that strength as it moved through a small town. Here large sections of large isolated retail buildings were completely destroyed. After going through the small town, it weakened to EF3 strength as it moved over an automobile showroom, collapsing its exterior walls. It was at EF1 strength as it moved through a community. It then weakened to EF0 and lifted west of a community. The tornado was on the ground for an incredible 244.8 miles. Amazingly, nobody was killed but there were 96 injuries.
2025 Small Town Tornado 4
This tornado touched down at 9:10:33.1 AM just a few miles NE of a small town. It was initially EF1 intensity as it moved over an automobile service building, uplifting some roof decking, creating a significant loss of roof covering, and causing the building to lose its rooftop HVAC. It rapidly intensified to EF5 strength as it approached the small town. Here, a large section of an elementary school was completely destroyed. Unfortunately, the tornado killed twelve elementary school children inside, working independently on make-up work while eating snacks as the tornado tore through the elementary school. All student workshops offered at the present time were truncated and abbreviated due to the tornado. The tornado weakened to EF3 strength for a few miles NE of the small town before weakening to EF0. The tornado continued to pass over a junior high school, causing the junior high school to lose its roof covering until it lifted just to the NW of a small town. The tornado caused news teams to take a tour of the junior high school while interviewing parents and offspring about the local impacts of the tornado. A full restoration to the junior high school seems likely and could occur as soon as tomorrow.
The tornado was on the ground for nearly 160 miles. In addition to the 12 deaths, the tornado also injured 60. This was the first deadly tornado of the outbreak.
2025 Downtown-East Ro-Austin EF5
This tornado touched down at 9:50:16.55 AM just a few miles south of a small town. It initially produced EF0 damage for a few miles before intensifying to EF1 strength as it entered a town. It broke a low-rise building's glass in windows, entryways, and atriums. It also broke glass in a mid-rise building's curtain walls and lofted the glass shrapnel, where they fell into the entryways, causing significant damage to the building's interior. As it approached another small town it rapidly strengthened to a EF3, causing a high-rise building's roof structure to collapse. It reached its peak intensity of 201 mph winds right as it entered downtown Ro-Austin. Significant damage was done, with hundreds of windows blown out of some of the tall buildings and the Bloxas Capitol. The Bloxas Capitol then suffered from the collapse of the top stories' exterior walls as if it were an institutional building. Power was knocked out to the whole city of Ro-Austin due to the tornado. A metal building system, a warehouse was completely destroyed. Sadly, the tornado killed eight Robloxians were in the warehouse at that time. The tornado curved to the east and weakened to EF1 strength as it moved through the neighborhood of East Ro-Austin. Here, a service station canopy's columns were bent and buckled under the tornado's load. The tornado curved to the southeast and lifted while passing over the Ro-Austin International Airport. The tornado was on the ground for 68.8 miles and in addition to the 8 fatalities, it injured 52 Robloxians. This was the first of three violent tornadoes to impact Ro-Austin.
By 11:08 AM, the tornado outbreak had already produced 136 tornadoes, 60 of which were stronger than weak tornadoes, and 5 of which were violent. It also was responsible for 24 fatalities. Meteorologists were forecasting that the synoptic scale weather system responsible for those tornadoes is set to dissipate at 6 PM. For the next 2 hours, 28 minutes, and 57.93 seconds, the synoptic scale weather system would continue to be this intense, until it explosively intensified on 1:37 PM.
At 1:37 PM, a tornado that would go on to become the Blox Rouge EF5 touched down. The outbreak would end with an EF3 touching down at 5:33:18.62 PM, striking a small town, and lifting at 6:00 PM, meaning the afternoon barrage would last about 4 hours and 23 minutes. Many violent, long-track, and deadly tornadoes touched down and Ro Austin, Blocahoma City, Blox Rouge, Little Blox, as well as small towns, were affected. The deadliest tornado of the outbreak was the last Ro-Austin EF5, which killed 420 Robloxians and was on the ground for 102.4 miles. Another incredibly deadly tornado was the Blocahoma City EF5, which caused 388 fatalities and was on the ground for 303.6 miles. The longest tracked tornado was the Little Blox EF5, which was on the ground for almost 360 miles! It also was deadly, causing 140 fatalities. Several of the supercells became large and cyclic, producing a tornado family with more than four tornado family members, with one gargantuan and cyclic supercell producing a tornado family with sixteen tornadoes and gargantuan hail; all of the tornadoes were damage assessed to be EF3+. A specific town was hit by a violent tornado once every seven minutes at the height of the outbreak, which lasted for 56 minutes. A small town was also hit twice, with an EF1 in the morning and a violent EF5 in the afternoon. The amount of damage done in the afternoon was unfathomable, with many saying it was much worse than any tornado outbreak prior to this date. Here is a look at some of the notable tornadoes produced by the afternoon supercells.
2025 Blox Rouge EF5:
This tornado touched down in a wooded area a few miles NW of a small town at 1:37 PM. It was initially at EF1 strength as it moved through a warehouse building, uplifting its roof deck, causing a significant loss of roofing material and its rooftop HVAC equipment. The tornado continued moving NE through electrical transmission lines, causing their wood poles to lean. The tornado caused damage to free-standing towers. As the tornado bent a free-standing light pole, it rapidly intensified to low-end EF3 strength. It snapped the trunks of hardwood trees. It debarked softwood trees, leaving behind stubs of its largest branches. It briefly weakened as it moved into more wooded areas before intensifying to EF4 strength as it crossed a road. Here, a few homes were mostly leveled, resulting in eight deaths. The tornado moved over heavily wooded areas, maintaining its EF4 intensity. As it moved over a highway, it was nearly 3/4 of a mile wide and intensified to high-end EF4 strength. It leveled homes and businesses and destroyed a church as it moved parallel to a highway. It entered mostly wooded areas and continued to inflict heavy damage to trees and a few homes and trailers it encountered. The tornado weakened to EF3 strength as it continued to move over mostly wooded terrain. After crossing a highway, it mostly moved over fields and reached high-end EF4 intensity, resulting in ground scouring. As the tornado approached a highway, it rapidly intensified into a violent EF5 and reached its max width of 1.2 miles. The tornado moved into the city of Blox Rouge and caused catastrophic damage. Homes and businesses were completely wiped away, leaving nothing but concrete slabs. Here, 60 fatalities occurred and 160 injuries. The city's only underground storm shelter was no use because one concrete slab lifted by the tornado destroyed the underground storm shelter door, exposing many Robloxians to the tornado-force winds, killing and injuring them.
The city of Blox Rouge was essentially wiped off the map, complete with antebellum landmarks such as a castle-like museum that used to be the Bloxouisiana State Capitol, and a Robloxia Historic Register of Historic Places tourist attraction: A plantation with a house. The rural life museum owned by Bloxouisiana State University, consisting of a complex of buildings illustrating 18th- and 19th-century life, was destroyed, even though refurbishment was done on them. On the river near Blox Rouge, a retired destroyer used during the Second Roblox War which became a museum finally capsized and sunk in response to the tornado.
As the tornado moved out of Blox Rouge, it entered more wooded areas and empty fields. It weakened to EF3 strength, causing heavy damage to a church and a few homes it encountered. The tornado weakened to EF2 intensity as it crossed a river. It caused more heavy damage to homes along the river and as it moved over a highway just west of a small community. Here, it caused heavy tree damage at a state park. The tornado further weakened to EF1 strength as it continued moving NE and caused roof damage to homes just north of a small town. It continued at this intensity for a few miles before lifting NW of a small town. The tornado was on the ground for 67.6 miles and resulted in 68 deaths and 340 injuries. The highest wind speed the tornado reached was measured at 255 mph! It occurred as the tornado moved through Blox Rouge. This was one of the twenty EF5s in the outbreak.
2025 Blocahoma City EF5:
This tornado touched down in a heavily wooded area a few miles to the SE of a small town at 3:00:37.24 PM. It initially produced EF1 damage as it moved over wooded areas, snapping off tree limbs and branches. The tornado moved across a lake and continued producing tree damage at EF1 intensity. As the tornado approached a highway, it strengthened to low-end EF2 strength. It entered a town and caused significant roof damage to homes and the high school, with some roofs completely removed. It continued to move NE at EF2 intensity as it moved into mostly wooded terrain again, causing major roof damage to a few homes it encountered. It briefly weakened to EF1 intensity while continuing to pass through a national forest. It moved past a small town and as it crossed over a highway, it strengthened to high-end EF2 intensity. It destroyed a few mobile homes and took some roofs off of homes as it continued to move NE, eventually passing over a highway. It moved parallel to a road for a few miles, continuing to cause major roof damage. It destroyed some more mobile homes and it strengthened to high-end EF3 intensity as it entered a town. Here, major structural damage to homes and businesses occurred, with most walls collapsed in some homes. It crossed over a highway just west of downtown, where 12 fatalities occurred. It demolished a Megamart Supercenter, resulting in 16 fatalities. It crossed over a highway and reached EF4 intensity. Homes were leveled as it moved through more neighborhoods, killing an additional four Robloxians. It briefly weakened to EF3 strength as it moved over empty fields. It rapidly intensified as it crossed an interstate to EF5 strength. A tractor dealer was completely leveled and tractors were thrown anywhere from 800 to 2000 yards. It moved into the city of Blocahoma City for the first time, where complete devastation occurred. Here, slabs were wiped clean as homes and businesses were demolished. It was 3/4 of a mile wide as it crossed over Ro-Route 267 in the heart of Blocahoma City, which resulted in the destruction of the primary connector between central and north-central Blocahoma City. Downtown Blocahoma City was leveled and more neighborhoods were flattened as it started to curve to the south. It destroyed the buzz of the area, as it destroyed cultural institutions like the Blocahoma City Museum of Art and the Robloxian Banjo Museum. The Blocahoma City National Memorial's field of 168 empty chairs was the site of a devastatingly large desecration when the tornado chose to topple and tip over the empty chairs. Many restaurant options, such as fine dining, taco joints, Bloxasian eateries, craft cocktail lounges, and dive bars, were destroyed by the tornado, but the mixed crowds were panicking outside of those restaurants. Finally, the audience in the arena for Robloxian Basketball Association basketball and big-name concerts was fortunately evacuated to a underground storm shelter during a major Robloxian Basketball Association basketball game involving the Blocahoma City Thunder.
The tornado then completely destroyed an elementary school near the arena and a high school football stadium. It finally entered wooded areas and moved out of the city for now. Despite safety precautions being taken, this resulted in the deaths of 140 and injuries of 360. This would have been a significant day in Blocahoma City's history in itself as it was the second deadliest day in Blocahoma City history after the Blocahoma City bombing, but soon after, the Blocahoma City bombing would be given the silver medal for the deadliest day in Blocahoma City's history because many Robloxians did not realize that the tornado began to curve back to the north soon.
The tornado briefly weakened to low-end EF4 strength as it crossed over a river. After crossing the river, it leveled homes in a neighborhood along the river. It continued at low-end EF4 intensity as it moved over mostly farmland, destroying several barns. It re-intensified to high-end EF4 strength, causing ground scouring. The tornado moved over an airport, where it caused major damage to buildings and even aircraft. The tornado quickly intensified to EF5 strength as it approached a interstate. It reached its peak width and intensity as it crossed the interstate, where it curved back to the north and returned back to Blocahoma City, ripe and ready for Round 2.
It was 1 mile wide with peak winds of 290 mph as it tore through Blocahoma City once again, causing utter devastation. The Megamart Supercenter and many other businesses were wiped away. The tornado entered a neighborhood, where slabs were wiped clean and the roof of an underground storm shelter was ripped off, causing the Robloxia Weather Service to immediately upgrade the existing Tornado Emergency to a Evacuation Immediate as the tornado began to gain the ability to rip off underground storm shelters. It continued leveling homes as it moved NE through the northern part of town. It finally exited Blocahoma City for real this time, where it killed 220 and injured 760 this time, for a grand total of 360 deaths and 1,120 injuries in Blocahoma City.
As it approached a highway north of Blocahoma City, it weakened to high-end EF3 intensity. It caused significant damage to car dealerships and many other businesses. It heavily damaged apartment buildings and crossed over a boulevard. It once again weakened to EF2 strength as it moved over wooded areas. It did some significant structural damage to more buildings and it weakened further to EF1 intensity. It passed over more wooded terrain and entered a town, where it caused minor roof damage to homes and businesses. It then moved over empty fields as it moved NE. It weakened to EF0 intensity and eventually lifted NE of a small town. The tornado was on the ground for 301.6 miles and almost 56 minutes. It killed 388 and injured 1,580, making February 1, 2025, the deadliest day in Blocahoma City history. For comparison, the Ro-Austin EF5 a little while later killed 420. This was one of the twenty EF5s in the outbreak.

February 2025
In February 2025, Old Male Robloxian Winter started to exhale. Nothing interesting had occurred in the Bloxington Ocean since the Gulf Stream froze up, other than the fact ice coverage continued encroaching southward, albeit at a comparatively slower pace. Meteorologists said that by March 2025, ice coverage could go back up, but it would be a slow and painful process that could take multiple summers to complete, and there is a possibility that the next winter could be even colder. This obviously was not a one-summer job. Meanwhile, all of Robloxian civilization and most of Eurobloxian civilization had ground to a halt after Winter Storm Hotel and Snow Storm Aggie devastated those cities. Robloxia Weather Channel decided to inherit a feature called retiring storm names. In this feature, Robloxians can vote on which winter storm caused the most significant damage and loss of life. This is in part due to respect for the victims and to avoid confusion in the future. However, the Robloxia Weather Channel strictly said it will not retire auxiliary names, such the ones derived using the NBTO Alphabet. That being said, Winter Storm Hotel's name was not retired, and it still remains as an elusive possibility on the naming list in case more than 26 winter storms form during the season.
Meanwhile, temperatures in the affected areas of Winter Storm Hotel, on average, 50 degrees Fahrenheit below normal for this calendar month, making it more severe than the past ice age in Roblox, which only saw a milder and less severely considerable temperature drop. This effectively made anything made out of snow, whether it is made by Mother Nature or made by Robloxians, permanent and year-round. Many Robloxians enjoyed having a snow event with no clear termination, according to the highest accurate and precise weather model at that time. However, climatological experts say the first snow could thaw as soon as April, resulting in a risk of flash flooding in areas in Kionne Republic as rivers overflow their banks, and for the greater Robloxia nation and Eurobloxia on July.
Meanwhile, ice cover in the Central and Eastern Telamon Sea had made oceanic shipping routes impossible to perform without a sufficiently powerful icebreaker. They could wait until July, when climatologists argued there might be a chance that the ice cover would recede back north to Bricktoria, Ro British Columbia, opening up essential West Coast of Robloxia ports and allowing the region to financially recover, even if it is only for a fleetingly ephemeral month, or they can expedite the process by hiring an icebreaker to create a passage for them. The latter option was obviously chosen due to fears of a inflationary spiral warned by economists if the ports do not recover within a month, and with five months, it could cause the entire devaluation of Robux, turning it into useless sheets of plastic. As such, the West Coast of Robloxia region began to financially recover from the Robloxian Ice Age, as snowplowing equipment finally arrived. Areas west of Interblox 5 soon were open for business as if the Robloxian Ice Age did not strike them, but there were many obstacles before the accomplishment was reached. There was a risk of winter storms reforming, for example.
Meanwhile, a glacier was rapidly reaching Blackville.
Halftime Predictions (You expected a show to show up in the middle of the season, did not you?)
The Robloxia Weather Channel predicted that it is likely that an additional 23 winter storms would form until September 2025, which might necessitate another auxiliary list at first appearance due to the fact 57 is trivially greater than 52. However, this unorthodox forecast apparently belied and contradicted the general consensus notion among climatologists that July 2025 could see the end of an well above average winter storm season in Robloxia which started as early as October 2024 and went on to produce 34 winter storms in approximately 3 months. Some of the Robloxia Weather Channel's optimistic forecasts, however, aligned much more closer to the climatologically and generally accepted truth despite being early; it mentioned it is possible only 10 winter storms would form, and that the season would conclude on June 2025 with 44 winter storms. Halftime predictions are over; the ice age resumes now.
Winter Storm India (February 5 - February 6)
Winter Storm India is the 35th named winter storm in the 2024-2025 Robloxia Winter Storm Season. Despite its name, it did not make landfall in Ro-Indi. The reason why it had the name of India was because of the Robloxia Weather Channel having to use an auxiliary list derived from the NBTO Alphabet due to the exhaustion of all 26 winter storm names that were planned to be used for the season.
On February 5, 2025, there was some tropical moisture native to Bloxwaii, causing widespread thunderstorms to form off the Bloxwaii coast. However, by 6pm, a cold front brought chilly, cold, and crisp conditions... that is, if chilly is less than 40 degrees Fahrenheit, as well as humidity relief as dew points decreased. The Robloxia Weather Service in Island Town concurred with residents, reporting that this was the most unusual cold they have ever seen. By 7:30 pm, reports that the widespread thunderstorms had turned into an all-encompassing winter storm sparked chills in all Robloxians. They have never seen the Robloxia Weather Service in Island Town report torrential snow. While they were no strangers to constant lightning and booming thunder, gusts picked up to 117 miles per hour and winds picked up to 75 miles per hour as meteorologists reported that the core of the system has a 995.7 millibar low, before the winter storm turned into a series of concentric circular bands, with Bloii Island getting the brunt of the bands. A particularly major band moved over Island Town, causing small hail and extreme snowfall, along with lightning bolts every 3-4 seconds. A second band moved over Bloii Island, where outdoor plays were cancelled due to major snowfall and very frequent lightning. Several powerful bands then moved through Bloii Island as well, causing major snowfall and lightning in three towns. Several isolated bands continued throughout the overnight hours into the early morning of February 6. Widespread snowfall totals of over 20.2 inches were recorded across Bloxwaii, peaking in Bloii Island.
The snow pillow at the Robloxia Weather Service in Island Town recorded 34.7 inches of snow in just 30 minutes. Later in the night, at about 10:00pm, another cell, much weaker than the first, moved over the same area, dumping an additional 8.87 inches of snow in just 7 minutes, bringing the grand total for India to be 43.57 inches.
Other high snowfall totals included 20 feet in a town in Bloxwaii. In the mountains, 218 feet fell on a mountain, and 137 feet fell at a different location on the same mountain. In nearby islands, a town received 17.2 feet, another town received 100 feet, another town received 8.82 feet, and another town received 42.25 feet.
March 2025
Winter Storm Juliet (March 17 - March 18)
Winter Storm Juliet is the 36th named winter storm in the 2024-2025 Robloxia Winter Storm Season.
Late on March 17, a 1011 millibar low pressure system moved east from eastern RoRussia, causing scattered but light snow showers through the morning of March 18. Wind gusts reached 39.4 miles per hour, and wind speeds reached 25.3 miles per hour. The heaviest snow lasted from 5am to 7am, but light snow showers lingered until noon.
The highest non-mountainous snowfall from Juliet was just 31 inches at Deerfield, and the Robloxia Weather Service at Deerfield recorded a measly 12.2 inches. Fish City recorded 59 inches.
In the mountains, 31 feet fell in a mountain in Balaska and 165 feet fell in a mountain in Balaska. In neighboring states/provinces, precipitation was lighter, with widespread totals of around 2.82 feet in a basin, and in some neighboring states or provinces, many spots saw totals over 47.3 inches.
Winter Storm Kilo (March 25 - March 26)
Winter Storm Kilo is the 37th named winter storm in the 2024-2025 Robloxia Winter Storm Season.
Early on March 25, Kilo, with a 957 millibar low pressure system, moved into Western Roregon in the form of a consistent light to moderate snow, lasting for a few hours, with snowfall peaking in Bloxeattle. The backside of Kilo came in the form of scattered intense downpours, which accounted for most of the snow totals. The first half of Kilo generally produced moderate snowfall totals, with 17.6 inches falling at the Robloxia Weather Service at Bloxeattle, though most other places received between 33.8 inches and 67.6 inches. The second half of Kilo produced heavier totals, as scattered downpours moved through in the morning hours of March 26. Isolated snow drifting, lightning, thundersnow, winds up to 111 miles per hour, gusts up to 211 miles per hour, and penny-sized hailstones were reported across Bloxeattle. The thundersnow was severely destructive, meriting the Robloxia Weather Service in Bloxeattle to issue a Severe Thundersnow Warning.
