The Robloxian Language is a language emerging from the Internet that most Robloxian cities have listed as their official language. It is heavily inspired by English and Netspeak. It is not a dialect of English, but its own language system, although Robloxian is very similar to English and Internetic languages such as Instagramish or Tiktokese/Bloxtokese.

Robloxian names
A Robloxian name are legal names in the Robloxian language that can be registered as a legal name. Robloxians can select any available Robloxian name of their choice upon declaring citizenship and can later change it for 1,000 Robux. Robloxian names may have 3 to 20 characters, consisting of numbers, letters, and up to one underscore. The name must mean something in the Robloxian language.
History of Robloxian names:
In March 23, 2004, President Roblox passed legislation stating that all Robloxians willing to declare citizenship with a name in the Robloxian language can register their selected name on a form from now on must have 3 to 20 characters, consisting of numbers and letters. Robloxian names at that time were allowed to have spaces and underscores in them as they are in English. People are named in English such as John Doe and Jane Doe, but this law was later partially repealed on December 21, 2006, due to Robloxians impersonating other Robloxians by using spaces. During this time a few federal government members had periods in their Robloxian name; this law was likely repealed some date in 2006 after being accepted in 2004.
In the early 2010s, if a Robloxian name one wanted was taken, the government would secretly add a randomly generated word to the first half of it (as a suggestion for the user) and return the form to the user, with a simple form asking the question whether the suggested name was good. They can return the form with the "Yes" check box ticked to have it as their Robloxian name, "No, I want another one" check box ticked to have another randomly generated Robloxian name, or "No, I want to try again" check box ticked to provide an alternative Robloxian name. The Robloxian government discontinued this program on February 2017 for unknown reasons.
On February 24, 2016, the Robloxian government repealed the underscore ban of December 21, 2006, once again allowing Robloxians to have underscores in their Robloxian names, as the underscore is very important in the Robloxian language.
In 2018, Robloxian government passed legislation prohibiting Robloxian names consisting of only numbers. This was to prevent Robloxians from having their phone number as a Robloxian name and because the Robloxian government was allowing Robloxians to login to the government website by a phone number. The current Robloxian legislation dictates that Robloxian names can consist of 3-20 characters using letters, numbers and a single underscore (_) which must not be the first or last character of the Robloxian name.
In 2019, a new law was passed, allowing Robloxians to default in the Robloxian name question in the declaring citizenship form. If they defaulted, they would given a Robloxian name "Robloxian" consisting with 9 random numbers right after it. This law was passed in early June 2019. However, it was shortly repealed.
In 2020, Robloxian law passed one of the most liberating acts in Robloxian history: allowing Robloxians to have an alternate name. The Robloxian government would refer to Robloxians by their alternate name if they set one up by filing a form. However, the law was repealed sometime in October 2020 then passed again sometime in November 2020.
Changing Robloxian Names.
Prior to March 23, 2004, changing Robloxian names was like changing one's name on the United States of America.
On March 23, 2004, Robloxia passed legislation that said that all name changing services by the state and local government are hereby to be discontinued, in favor of their own government service. They were only allowed to change their names due to either a parent's privacy concerns for the Robloxian name becoming their full name or per request by the Robloxian government due to the name violating the Robloxian Constitution. If a Robloxian refused to provide one in a certain timeframe, the Robloxian username would then be legally changed to [ Content Deleted NUMBER ] for Robloxian names changed prior to 2014 or ResetUserID for names changed after 2014. When a Robloxian name is changed.
A law passed on October 22, 2013, allows Robloxians to voluntarily change their Robloxian names for a 1,000 Robux fee. This feature was highly requested by Robloxians on the government forums. All Robloxian names that are changed must satisfy all Robloxian name requirements and policies.
Since fall of 2018, most [ Content Deleted ] names have been replaced with [ Account Deleted (PROFILE ID)]. This has been discovered in October 2018, through a Robloxian who decided to follow several of these names on the Robloxian government website. In 2019, future inappropriate Robloxian names were replaced with "Reset[UserID]". Recently, on the government website, exiled Robloxians are just displayed with their proper name and avatar, but the Robloxian is unable to click on them.
Robloxian Name Sniping
Robloxian name sniping is an activity Robloxian non-citizens do to find rare or lucky Robloxian names only earlier Robloxians could get. For example, "Player" is an example of a name snipe. Most Robloxians declare citizenship for the purpose of taking the name before somebody else can; these Robloxians are often typical Robloxians. Certain Robloxian corporations are dedicated to Robloxian name sniping, which perpetuates the trend. However, this has caused many Robloxians who were the targets of the name snipers to be exiled, due to name snipers getting those Robloxians to come to their corporation, especially for selling them or having them work as a corporation as a corporate celebrity. Robloxian names with spaces in them post-2004 are the main targets of those corporations.
Robloxian Name Trends
Aside from name sniping, non-citizens often use Robloxian name trends to make a unique name for themselves and still take the idea of name sniping or adding initials before a name.

Robloxian Name Loopholes
December 2016 loophole
In December 2016, some non-citizens realized that they can make Robloxian names with spaces with them, despite the legislation being repealed. The first non-citizen to do declared citizenship under the Robloxian name "David ". This trend spread relatively quickly, with Robloxians even using this to declare citizenship with their Robloxian name being a two letter name, such as "pi " and "hi ". The legislative loophole was closed days after the loophole was discovered and all Robloxians that exploited the loophole were exiled. At the same time, another non-citizen discovered that they can make Robloxian names with dashes/hyphens in them, despite the legislation stating that the action was non-permissible. The first non-citizen who found this out declared citizenship as "Builder-Guy". Every Robloxian who used the hyphen loophole was renamed by the government to a generic name.
March 2022 legislation incident
On March 24, 2022, the Robloxian name legislation was repealed back to what it was pre-2004 as the Robloxian government was trying to simplify the legislation.
While this was happening, a non-citizen declared citizenship with a name with a swear word. This led to massive trend in which many non-citizens did this.
Shortly after the discovery, the Robloxian government decided to cancel the simplification and the legislation returned. It was not too late; Robloxian government renamed every Robloxian who took advantage of the repeal to a generic name before exiling them.
Letter templates:
These letter templates are used in letters for when a Robloxian is unable to declare citizenship.
- "To whom it may concern, this Robloxian name is already in use. Sincerely, the Robloxian Government." (Writing a Robloxian name that was already used)
- "To whom it may concern, please write a Robloxian name. Sincerely, the Robloxian government." (Leaving the username box blank)
- "To whom it may concern, that Robloxian name is not appropriate for our country. Sincerely, the Robloxian government." (Writing an inappropriate Robloxian name)
- "To whom it may concern, that Robloxian name might contain private information. Sincerely, the Robloxian government." (Writing a Robloxian name that may contain private information)
- "To whom it may concern, Robloxian names may only contain letters, numbers, and underscores. Sincerely, the Robloxian government." (Writing characters that are not those)
- "To whom it may concern, Robloxian names cannot start or end with an underscore. Sincerely, the Robloxian government." (Starting or ending a Robloxian name with an underscore)
- "To whom it may concern, Robloxian names can be 3 to 20 characters long. Sincerely, the Robloxian government." (Starting or ending a Robloxian name with an underscore" (Having over 20 characters in a Robloxian name)
- "To whom it may concern, Robloxian names can have at most one underscore. Sincerely, the Robloxian government." (Writing more than one underscore in a Robloxian name)
- "To whom it may concern, Robloxian name is not available. Please try again. Sincerely, the Robloxian government." (Perhaps one of the most helpful letters one can receive from the Robloxian government)
Robloxian Names with over 20 characters.
In the online declaring citizenship forms, it is possible to have Robloxian names with 21 or more letters using glitches. These Robloxian names mostly occur in Robloxian citizens who used a gaming console to fill the form out or the Robloxian government quality assuring the online declaring citizenship forms.
The most notable instance of this being possible was in 2011, when the Robloxian government allowed the online declaring citizenship forms to be done in mobile devices. Somehow, the mobile edition of the online declaring citizenship form allowed Robloxians to have up to 50 characters in their Robloxian names. Some Robloxian even spilled the Tom's Beans by telling other Robloxians in the government forums to do it as well, one month after the first Robloxian was allowed to do so. This internal pressure caused the Robloxian government to release an update to the mobile declaring citizenship form by prohibiting Robloxians to have over 20 characters in their Robloxian names.
Resetting Robloxian Names in Favor of Official Government Events
Initially started around 2018, the Robloxian government started resetting Robloxian names and even exiling those who resisted the reset, then proceeding to give the new Robloxian name in question to accounts made by the Robloxian government for their official government events, by resetting the original Robloxian name to Reset (or UN as of 2023) and the Government Support Ticket number used to contact government support. This started getting more apparent in 2022. After the resets were conducted, the Robloxian governments change the original Robloxian name of the placeholder Robloxian that they used, then claiming that they wanted the Robloxian to become a citizen.
This practice was met with harsh criticism. Even the claim that says the Robloxian government wanted the Robloxian to become a citizen is bogus, according to one Robloxian. Another Robloxian said that every Robloxian who was victimized of this was absolutely not warned when it happened to them.
Fun Facts:
Many 3 and 4 character Robloxian names were made in late 2022 and early 2023 after a loophole was found in the way reporting accounts with the government support form works.
Contrary to popular belief, 51+ character Robloxian names do not exist. The most characters ever possible were 50.
3 character Robloxian names ran out somewhere around 2016, with the last one being sniped.
The Robloxian name "KFC" was changed to "Reset23323929", making the Robloxian name open. A Robloxian created the account on October 14, 2020, before getting exiled on February 14, 2023, and getting its username reset once more.
Robloxian government members reset certain 3 character Robloxian names for certain Robloxian government events, such as KSI, NFL, BFC, and most recently, PLL.
All 4 character Robloxian names that were legal ran out in April 2020. Some more were made after that, which were made either when a Robloxian name gets reset or when the Robloxian constitution approves.
Only 5-20 digit Robloxian names are not taken, though in practice, the remaining 4 digit Robloxian names could be taken had they not been filtered.
There are Robloxians on Robloxia who will purposefully change their Robloxian name to one format in order to be recognizable.
If one is logged in to the government website on multiple devices, changing the Robloxian name using the online changing Robloxian name form will sign the Robloxian out of all devices except the one where the form was accessed.
Places in Robloxian language
Many Robloxian cities and countries have a Robloxian name.
- English place name = Robloxian translation
- Prestonia (Petland of Prestonia) = Pet Simulator X! (often stylised as Pet Sim X or PSX)
- Uplift City = Adopt Me!
- Bacon Empire = Roleplay World
