The Robloxia Police Department (Abbreviated as RPD, sometimes called the Robloxia City Police Department to distinguish from its federal counterpart, and known grandiloquently as Metropolitan Police Department of the District of Cassel) is a Robloxian city-wide law enforcement agency that currently serves as the municipal civilian police force for the City of Robloxia, District of Cassel. The RPD currently has a total of 3,800 police officers (26 of which belong to the Robloxia Police Department and 3,774 which are volunteers from the Robloxia Citizen Militia who are willing to commit to police and service Robloxia City until the RPD gets more independent police officers). It was notable in which it was the first police department to ever surrender to a far-right terrorist organized coalition, effectively defunding it and turning it into a simultaneous symbol of a democracy under attack as well as the death of the "defund police" movement that started with the death of the George Bloxord since it was known that defunding the police as effectively seen from the attack had detrimentally adverse effects in society.
Currently, the Robloxia Citizens Militia are voting for a new department head and other members of the succession ever since the May 18, 2026 Attack on Robloxia City emptied the entire succession. The Communist Party of Robloxia argued for a radical restructuring of the law enforcement department by removing the department head class and making all police officers equal in class ranking and starting salary, while other pro-law enforcement agencies preferred the status quo: a department head with distinct hierarchies.
