The official currency of Robloxia is the Robux (R$). They are used to buy stuff like clothing, places and other stuff on the Roblox Catalog. Robux is used and you can buy more cool stuff like suits, torsos, body styles, building materials, and places. Robux are green banknotes sometimes saying R$ in upper case letters. Tickets used to be yellow banknotes saying TIX.

Discontinuation of Tickets (Tix):
Announcement:
On March 15, 2016, The President of Robloxia announced that the following month Tix will be discontinued, saying that first-time citizens were "confused and delayed"(Actual reason is because of the Great Recession of 2016). As a result, first time citizens had to go through extreme measures to make money. Chain letters became common and several people fell for the trap.
Robloxians were finding a true explanation on why the President removed TIX. The findings found out that mass immigration of bots and a record transaction at the currency exchange caused a ordinary first time citizen to become rich quick.
A lot of users were angry and unhappy and stormed the President of ROBLOX's office, possibly to overthrow the President of ROBLOX and stop the currency from shutting down. However, in April, President of ROBLOX refused to be overthrown and made a law saying that anyone who requests TIX to be back will be punished based on the seriousness. On April 8th, people started describing the President of ROBLOX as Stalin of the 21st century.
1 week later, Tix exchange rates crashed from 1 ROBUX : 17 TIX to 1 ROBUX : 0 TIX, and the TIX currency was dropped regardless whether the protests were successful or not.
Post-Discontinuation of Tickets (Tix):
After the currency dropped, President of Roblox officially passed The POSTIX Law, which means that if a citizen uses a TIX to buy something, the citizen's request will be refused. Illegal chain letter spreaders also increased in number. A lot of Robloxians committed suicide for the first couple of days without TIX.
