Ro Ljubljana is the capital and largest city of Ro-Slovenia. It is the cultural, educational, economic, political, and administrative center of the country. During antiquity, a city called Ro Emona stood in the area. Ro Ljubljana itself was first mentioned in the first half of the 12th century. Situated at the middle of a trade route between the northern half of a sea and a region, it was the historical capital of Ro Carniola, one of the Ro Slovene-inhabited parts of the Ro Habsburg monarchy. It was under Ro Habsburg rule from the Middle Ages until the dissolution of an empire in 1918. After 1945, Ro Ljubljana became the capital of the Socialist Republic of Ro-Slovenia, part of a socialist federal republic. It retained this status until Ro-Slovenia became independent in 1991 and Ro Ljubljana became the capital of the newly formed state.
