Ro Discord was a VoIP and instant messaging social platform developed by pozzzy3333. Robloxians had the ability to chat with text messaging, music, image, model, and videos in private chats or as part of communities called "servers". Robloxians could also create their own server and customize it for themself and give roles to members that they can also customize. If any Robloxian has a question about Ro Discord, they could directly message the founder. On July 20, 2024, Ro Discord shutdown due to the fact pozzzy3333 no longer supported the VoIP and instant messaging social platform, as well as the security on the VoIP and instant messaging social platform deteoritating. pozzzy3333 went on to became the new CEO of BuildCommunity, a company that made another VoIP and instant messaging social platform called Electron, which was launched on January 14, 2024. Unfortunately, the CEO of BuildCommunity was deported by the Robloxian government. On November 23, 2024, Electron would try to implement voice channels, and they succeeded. Users of Electron had the same paid features in Ro Discord. On July 17, 2025, BuildCommunity's version of Electron was then acquired by Junior Engineers, another company that was making a similar VoIP and instant messaging social platform called Electron that launched on September 8, 2024. Due to the platform's nature, there might be occasional crude humor present.

Features:

Servers:

Ro Discord communities were organized into discrete collections of channels called servers. Robloxians could create servers for free, manage their public visibility, and create voice channels, text channels, and categories to sort the channels into. Any given server could have up to 100 members, with the Robloxian being rewarded when their created server reaches 10, 20, 40, and 80 members.

Channels:

Channels may be used for instant messaging and music, image, model, and video sharing. The visibility and access to channels could be customized to limit access from certain users.

Direct Messaging:

Direct messages in Ro Discord allowed users to send messages and share music, images, models, and videos. An added feature in Ro Discord direct messages is the ability to create message groups of up to 10 users. This acted similar to a server's text channel.

User profiles

Users registered for Ro Discord with their ROBLOX username. To allow multiple users to use the same username, they were assigned a four-digit number called a "discriminator" (colloquially a "Ro Discord tag"), prefixed with "#", which is added to the end of their username.

Government usage

Some officials use Ro Discord since it is very hard to hack.

Monetization

While Ro Discord itself came at no cost, pozzzy3333 investigated ways to monetize it, with potential options including paid customization options. The developers have stated that while they will look for ways to monetize the software, it will never lose its core features.

On March 9, 2021, the first paid feature was released. For a one-time fee of R$80, Robloxians can get a rainbow online status. On April 29, 2021, the second paid feature was released. For a one-time fee of R$60, Robloxians can create their own invite code. On July 20, 2021, the third paid feature was released. For a one-time fee of R$120, Robloxians can create their own server and profile banners. All of the paid features were removed on July 20, 2024 as Ro Discord shut down. However, paid features returned later, under the new management of Junior Engineers. On September 9, 2024, three paid features were released. for a one-time-fee of R$69, Robloxians can use their custom emoji everywhere. For a one-time-fee of R$79, Robloxians can get profile colors. For a one-time-fee of R$119, Robloxians can get profile banners.
