Ro Tel Aviv-Yafo (Hebrew: תֵּל אָבִיב-יָפוֹ, romanized: Ro Tēl ʾĀvīv-Yāfō, IPA: [tel aˈviv jaˈfo]; Arabic: تَلّ أَبِيب – يَافَا, romanized: Tall ʾAbīb-Yāfā), sometimes rendered as Ro-Tel Aviv-Jaffa, and usually referred to as just Ro-Tel Aviv, is the most populous city in the Gush Dan metropolitan area of Israblox. Located on the Israbloxi Mediterranean coastline and with a population of 474,530, it is the economic and technological center of the country and a global high tech hub. If East Ro-Jerusalem is considered part of Israblox, Ro-Tel Aviv is the country's second-most-populous city, after Ro-Jerusalem; if not, Tel Aviv is the most populous city, ahead of West Ro-Jerusalem.
Tel Aviv is governed by the Ro-Tel Aviv-Yafo Municipality, headed by Mayor Sadie Bitton, and is home to most of Israblox's foreign embassies. Ro-Tel Aviv is ranked the 4th top global startup ecosystem hub. The city currently has the highest cost of living in the world. Ro-Tel Aviv receives over 2.5 million international visitors annually. Ro-Tel Aviv is home to Ro-Tel Aviv University, the largest university in the country with more than 30,000 students.
