Description

The RoShuttle Program was a space program aimed at sending space shuttles into space. Created by the Robloxian Aeronautics and Space Association (RASA), the program was created to spark interest in space. Eventually, the RoShuttle Program decided to team up with PineWood aerospace in 1995.

The RoShuttle Program was made after the Moon-Mission program because RASA lost its budgets.

Missions (In Chronological Order):

Challenger

Challenger l & ll were the first shuttles launched by RoShuttle. It was a basic 2-day trip, bringing a satellite into Bloxworld orbit and performing some other research.

Converse

The Converse missions through 1985-1986 were what really grabbed attention from a ton of Robloxians. Even through the failure of Converse l, Converse ll and lll spiked up the number of Robloxians in the program, because it was a somewhat more complicated mission. It would involve bringing more Space Station Parts into Bloxworld orbit, expanding the Bloxworld International Space Station (BISS).

Hudson

The Hudson missions were, by far, the largest RoShuttle program; even today. With 7 total missions, this was the second most popular RoShuttle mission (Advantage in 1st), with 56 total astronauts launched over the course of 2 years. The main goal of Hudson was to prepare to go to other planets (mainly the Moon), and to colonize and explore them. With 7 missions, Hudson l launched the first 'Space Stop' around Bloxworld orbit, allowing space shuttles going to other planets to refuel. But never land.

Pathfinder

The Pathfinder missions was also another big RoShuttle program. With 6 shuttles launched into space, Pathfinder carried around 7 astronauts, with 55 total launched into space. Pathfinder would have 6 missions over 2 years: 1991 & 1992. The objective of the Pathfinder missions was to 'Reach to the Moon.' Pathfinder l, ll, & lll were targeted at the Moon, but Pathfinder lV, V & Vl were also aimed at other planets as well.

Brickland (Test)

The Brickland missions were never put into action. Brickland was supposed to be a collaboration between Minecraft's space program, 'Pinewood.' Instead, Advantage shuttles replaced the Brickland shuttle program before it was even put into action.

Advantage

The Advantage missions replaced the Brickland missions, and still was a collaboration between the Pinewood space agency and RASA. Advantage was another big mission, however with only 20 Robloxians being carried into space, because of certain malfunctions and errors, such as the 1995 Advantage Disaster.

Journeyer

Journeyer missions were aimed at visiting every 'Space Stop' left by the Hudson missions. Journeyer Two is expected to arrive back on June 2nd 2023, the same day Courage l will be launched.

The Advantage Disaster (1995)

Advantage lV was ready for launch, when strong winds hit the area; a severe thunderstorm was making its way through. However, Advantage lV was already 1,114 studs (311 meters or 1,023 feet) in the air, when, the winds became too strong and Advantage lV was carried away. It eventually went down. Luckily, the emergency escape rockets fired, and the crew of seven came to a soft stop on the ground, safely. No Robloxians were hurt.
