Ro-ESRB Ratings are age ratings set by the Robloxian government and the Ro-ESRB. These ratings are created so that parents and educators can see what game is suitable for their children or students.
History:
Prior to 1995, games had no age ratings, meaning that everyone could play them, which later proved to be problematic. In 1995, the Robloxian government and the Ro-ESRB decided to rate every video game made since 1995 and before it.
The ratings in a nutshell
E (Everyone)
This rating indicates that the game is suitable for all ages. Violent games with this rating usually have fantasy violence.
It used to be called KA (Kids to Adults), but the rating was deprecated, there was also a similar rating called “ec” (early childhood) but that rating was eventually discontinued in 2018 and it merged into this rating.
E10+ (Everyone 10+)
This rating indicates that the game is suitable for everyone older than 10.
T (Teen)
This rating means that the game is not suitable for anyone under the age of 13, as it may contain some cursing, blood, or may scare some Robloxians.
M (Mature)
This rating means that it is not suitable for anyone under the age of 17.
AO (Adults only)
This rating means that the game is for adults only.
There has only been 27 games that have this rating.
RP (Rating Pending)
This means that the game is not rated yet. This rating is usually temporary and provisional, as it would first appear whenever a game is first being sold and/or promoted and would later be replaced with one of the above categories.
