History

Being launched (1995~1996)

In the January of 1995, some news in RBC was broadcasted that there will be a new network on December 31, 1996. Known as Ro-Champ TV, it was advertised as a channel for children, and importing Robloxian TV shows to South Korbloxia. On launch day, the network launched and broadcasted an episode of the original Brick Bronze Pokémon. After that, it became a success. Ro-Champ was very popular until one day and time in 2005.

Start of the downfall (2005)

At the July 20th, 2005, around 3:30 PM, the network got hacked and started to broadcast adult content. Fake Robloxian Emergency Alert System messages were displayed. Many children were watching Ro-Champ TV for children at that time. The fake REASes triggered massive and elevated levels of hysteria and panic. Because of the adult shows, parents were not happy about this and called the main company, showing their protest. It was reported that there were over 15,000 protest calls at the main company. News reporters reported on the incident. The main company announced that the servers were hacked, but they were unable to prevent it from being hacked. Following this, everyone who was at the incident at that time gave the show a 1-star rating, causing the rating to plummet by 1.9 stars from an initial rating of 4.6/5. Viewers even advocated the boycott of the network, causing a sharp 67.5% decline in weekly viewership from the initial 20,000. Over time, 200 viewers eventually returned to the network, but the increase was fleeting.

The main downfall (2006~2011)

In September 2006, there was a shooting in the main company building. The shooting did damage to the server room, which caused the analog broadcast to cease immediately. There were only 3,000 weekly viewers left because most of the children were watching analog broadcasts in 2006-2007. While the damage to the server room was being repaired, unknown hackers hacked the servers again and even disabled the digital servers. This caused the entire network to stop airing, creating a large debt. The servers were recovered in 2007 and the channel name was changed briefly to Champ TV. Champ TV would eventually go insolvent.

Ro-Champ (2011~2018)

In November 2011, the channel name was changed to Ro-Champ. However, they carried their insolvency, but they managed to bring Robloxians to South Korbloxia in 2014.

Re-Rise (2018-2023)

In 2018, the channel was revamped, with the new servers, new chairmen, etc. More shows were added, and few of them were being exported to South Korbloxia. This became a huge success, and it became popular again.

Second Heyday (2023-)

The viewership increased to 30,000, breaking the record from 1997-2005. The increase continues to last to this day. The channel name was changed to Champ TV on May 29, 2024.
