Retroslop is a style of clothing that is widely used by fans of Regretevator, Something Evil Will Happen, and Forsaken. Robloxians who adopt the style are called retroslopians.
Retroslop is a controversial and loosely defined term. At first, it was used for styles that try to look retro but end up feeling fake or not well done. These styles of clothing often mix real classic items with modern accessories in a way that clashes or does not match, resulting in that doesn’t have the smooth or nostalgic feel of the retro styles.
Over time, the term "Retroslop" became the name of the style, even though most people dislike the name because it was originally used as an insult against the style, but groups like Robloxians Against Retroslop use this in their name. Dictator Amethyst calls Retroslop "A disgrace to Robloxia's history".
Retroslop requires Robloxian to get:
- A blocky body with the R6 genome.
- Avatar shop items from the 2020s that are extremely exaggerated and not by the Robloxian government.
- Overly contrasted clothing and a Weirdcore look
- (mostly) Fingerless gloves
- (usually) a scene style. Some retroslopians are also usually furries.
- Neo-Japanese themed clothes and avatar shop items that are memes.
It is important to point out that retroslopians are also confused with neoclassical Robloxians, but those two styles are stylistically different.
