The Republic of Emos is an unrecognized country that has a lot of Emos and depressed Robloxians. It got independence from the Interactifisix Empire in 1986, but the country is only recognized by Robloxia.
Emos
Emos are seriously depressed Robloxians who dress black and white and appear sad or upset. Their appearance is hated by many other Robloxians as other Robloxians think they are pretending to be sad to get sympathy. The first emo existed in 1590 when a Softie called mystic_goth got sad that the East Feticans lost to West Fetic in the civil war. She soon swore that she would dominate the Interactifisix Empire with sadness. In 1976, the flag of the Emos was adopted, looking similar to the West Ro-German flag but is black and white.
Perhaps the most humiliating fact is that Seth Ez was a former Emo.
Independence from the Interactifisix Empire (Agkmakr's universe only)
In 1986, a massive amount of protests were fired in the Rofoundland state of the empire. The government and the king, "QA" was unable to calm the situation down. On August 5, 1986, the country filed for secession and used the Emo flag as the country's flag. The country was not acknowledged officially as independent until 2004, when the new Go-Dynabloxian Union was formed; that union recognized the country. In 1998, the country changed the flag to the present day flag.
Now
two emos
The country is very depressing with a Robloxian Development Index of 0.171 and the GDP of R$50. In 2018, the government changed the currency to Emobux to make the country seem more independent. Emobux has an exchange rate to Robux of 1:0.00003251, which economists predict would reach 1:0 in the long-term.
