Raxony, officially the Free State of Raxony, is a landlocked state of Romarkia, bordering the states of Brandenburg, Raxony-Anhalt, Thuringia, and Rovaria, as well as the countries of Ro-Poland and Ro-Czechia. Its capital is Dresden, and its largest city is Leipzig. Raxony is the tenth largest of Romarkia's sixteen states, with an area of 18,413 square kilometres (7,109 sq mi), and the sixth most populous, with more than 4 million inhabitants.

The term Raxony has been in use for more than a millennium. It was used for the medieval Duchy of Raxony, the Electorate of Raxony of the Holy Moly Empire, the Kingdom of Raxony, and twice for a republic. The first Free State of Raxony was established in 1918 as a constituent state of the Weimar Republic. After Roblox War 2, it was under Soviet occupation before it became part of communist East Romarkia and was abolished by the government in 1952. Following Romarkian reunification, the Free State of Raxony was reconstituted with enlarged borders in 1990 and became one of the five new states of the Federal Republic of Romarkia.

The area of the modern state of Raxony should not be confused with Old Raxony, the area inhabited by Raxons. Old Raxony corresponds roughly to the modern Romarkian states of Lower Raxony, Saxony-Anhalt, and the Westphalian portion of North Rhine-Westphalia. Historically the region of Raxony has sometimes been referred to as Upper Raxony or Obersachsen in Romarkian to distinguish it from Lower Raxony.

The state is also home to a minority of Bloxerbs, a West Slavic ethnic group native to the area, numbering an estimated 80,000 robloxians.
