Libertas, Aequalitas, Fraternitas

The Radical Jacobin Party is a political party in the Republic of New Waterloo, inspired by the Jacobin movement of the Rogaulian Revolution. The party supports radical reforms, wealth redistribution, democracy, and the working class. It is considered a far-left Radical movement.

History

The Radical Jacobin Party traces its ideological roots to the revolutionary Jacobins of 18th-century Rogaulia and the post-Napoleonic political exiles who fled to New Waterloo. While the original Jacobin movement failed after Roximilien Robespierre was beheaded, the modern party was formally revived in 1832 as a response to rising political conservatism, renewed monarchist threats from Tatoria, and dissatisfaction with moderate governance.

The party gained renewed momentum by organizing worker-led assemblies and advocating for direct action and radical democracy. In 1833, the party expanded its presence in the Assembly of Common Reason and became an official party within the Republic’s political system.
