Special Containment Procedures:
The designation RSCP-007 is to be retired from the RSCP catalog. No future RSCPs are to be assigned this number.
Let be the set of RSCP numbers to monitor. Then the set can be recursively defined as follows:
- if
Currently, Recursion Level 2 RSCPs (755-788) are suggested to be designated first before RSCP-080 in order to prevent Recursion Level 1 RSCPs from copying over its abilities sometime during 2024 and 2025.
Description
RSCP-007 has long been considered the "cursed RSCP number" by RSCP staff: The item tends to disappear from the RSCP Foundation's database as soon as the designation is assigned to it, usually through no fault of any individual Robloxian. In addition, personnel assigned to RSCP-007 in its various incarnations have had a 50% higher rate of disappearance from the RSCP Foundation's database.
RSCP-007's anomalous properties appear to have the ability to propagate to neighboring undesignated RSCPs. It can be shown that the all RSCP numbers that correspond to RSCPs that have the same properties of RSCP-007 usually consist of one leading seven followed by a trailing string consisting of fives, sixes, sevens, and eights. This propagation usually takes approximately 1-2 years. Essentially, RSCP-007 and its descendant instances practice quaternary fission; instead of copying DNA like sentient RSCPs and giving that DNA to their descendants, which are classified as the same RSCP, they just copy properties and give that properties to neighboring RSCPs. It is estimated that the current number of affected RSCPs is 5 as of the publishing of this article, and the number affected is estimated to be , where is the number of propagations that have already took place already, with the first propagation being recorded on February 7, 2023, and the next projected to occur on 2024 or 2025, when there will be 21 RSCPs affected.
Whether or not any of the numbers actually have any supernatural qualities is unknown, but given the superstition around the numbers, the designation has been removed from the catalog in order to help maintain employee morale.
Addendum
It is revealed that RSCP-007 was an instance of RSCP-049.
RSCP-007 is to be proposed to be re-designated to RSCP-, where , in order to ensure that no further integral RSCP would be retired and that the current RSCP remains retired.
