The RCC Men’s World Twenty20 2018 was a cricket tournament that took place in 2018. Originally to be cancelled, the RCC decided to make a new format and invited all RCC members to play in the tournament. Only two teams, South Bloxveld and Ro-Indi accepted the invite. Since these two accepted it, there was only one match, which was an unusual format for a top-tier tournament.

Reinstation

In 2017, the RCC announced they had cancelled the tournament but reversed the decision one month later. Due to a busy cricketing schedule for all teams in 2018, it became an invitational tournament. West Ro-Indies, the defending champions, didn’t participate.
