Special Containment Procedures
RSCP-089 is to be contained in a locked cell where it cannot get eye, physical, or vocal contact with anything unless there has been 2/3 of a vote from R5 Command. RSCP-089, in the case of a breach must be contained by Eta-10 as it is the easiest and safest way without making contact with it. It is normal and usual to hear sounds of cracking and "ropes moving". If there is a change in this routine, it must be alerted immediately to the Site Director or a guard on duty nearby. RSCP-089 must be contained either through Eta-10 MTF or robotics/remote controlled machines to prevent RSCP-089-2 instances from being created.
Description
RSCP-089 is a spherical Robloxian black plastic pumpkin with a typical equatorial diameter of 2 studs (1.837 feet) and a typical mass of 122.9 kilograms (271 pounds) found in a Jarison farm in 1992. A middle school field trip was starting when a student encountered RSCP-089. Immediately they started to be violently attacked by 089. Multiple students and faculty including the farm employees were attacked or transformed into 089-2. RSCP-089 seems to be a singular pumpkin, as no other pumpkin in the field was anomalous. It is unknown why this specific pumpkin was anomalous.
If visual, physical, or any other form of contact is made with RSCP-089, then Robloxians will instantly transform into RSCP-089-2. The variants of them are recorded below.
Behavior of RSCP-089-2 vary, but the most frequently recorded behavior are the following:
- The Robloxian will become deranged and start to believe that RSCP-089 is an almighty deity and thus Robloxians need to worship and protect it, in some cases even sacrificing themselves for 089.
- The Robloxian will be covered in vines and "mashed up" pieces of pumpkins. They will protect the pumpkin and fight for it.
- The Robloxian would be attacked by the pumpkin and as a survivor has said "consuming my soul". It may have attempted to take control of the Robloxian.
RSCP-089 after it turns a Robloxian into RSCP-089-2 would then start to grow its roots, producing the equivalent of one day of growth per Robloxian transformed, into any solid surface, making it very hard to contain. RSCP-089 personnel who used to be gardeners calculated that it takes 90-120 affected Robloxians for RSCP-089-2 to reproduce completely and that RSCP-089-2 roots contain its seeds. Those seeds germinate, grow into v
ines, flower, self-pollinate, develop fruit, and self-harvest. Weed killers are advised to be used when killing RSCP-089's roots. Foundation researchers have created a strong weed killer that is 492x stronger than retail weed killers usually found at markets. This substance that was made can be used to kill RSCP-089 roots. At times, RSCP-089 can grow or shrink, but it usually remains at its typical size and mass. When it shrinks, it exhales out liquid water and carbon dioxide. When it grows, it sucks in neighboring glucose and oxygen. The growing-shrinking cycle usually depends on how big the roots of RSCP-089 are and where they end up. RSCP-089 is also capable of speaking in its fully carved form.
RSCP-089 will take over the living soul of a Robloxian and use it for its own power and grow its roots. Attempts to destroy the parent of the instance have all resulted in failure. When Foundation researchers using a micropipette dropped 4.19 cubic millimeters of their newly innovated weed killer, RSCP-089's growth was stunted for 1 day, its leaves were significantly scorched, and its tissue was in a near-death state. Currently, Foundation staff are attempting to find a biological or scientific way to kill the parent of 089 instances, but all attempts so far have failed or resulted in major injuries rather than death on the Robloxians and mere scorched leaves and dying tissue on the parent of the 089 instances.Incident 089-1
On October 31st, 2021, RSCP-089 escaped from Site-14, where it then started to kill and manipulate hundreds of Class-D's and scientists. It created an army that searched through the entire facility to kill or recruit more 089-2 instances. Its army was eventually destroyed by water guns and soakers filled to the brim with the patented weed killer. They were unable to finish the battle before dawn broke and muted the parent of 089. While in its muted stage, RSCP-089 was escorted by Eta-10 to Site-14 back to its containment cell.
