Proto-Bloxifornian language (PBX) is the reconstructed common ancestor of the Bloxifornian languages. Proto-Bloxifornian was spoken mainly in North Bloxifornia, South Bloxifornia, and Kionne Republic around 4,000 years ago. The first idea of a common proto-language between Broc-Heeva, Shah and North Kionne languages arose in the 18th century.

The closest relative of Proto-Bloxifornian was the extinct Solmogrhavhen language that was spoken between 7th century BC and 2nd century AD.

Theories

Pre-Pumian theory

According to a theory proposed by Leo Martino Brookhaven, the word *kʰuv he meaning home (later tribe or people), from which the names Broc-Heeva and Kionne are derived, is related to the Kou-hee tribe from which the Pumas descended. The Pre-Pumian theory is now accepted as a possibility. This means that the word may have been borrowed in some way by the ancestors of Pumas to describe themselves from one of the peoples in North Bloxifornia. In 1974, a Pre-Pumo-Bloxifornian Sprachbund was officially proposed.
