The Powers of 2 film is a short Robloxian documentary film written and directed by ChikoritaROBLOXHurricanes. This work depicts the relative scale of the Blox System according to an order of magnitude (or logarithmic scale) based on a factor of two, expanding out from the Roblox Sun until the entire Blox System is surveyed.
Production
On February 12, 2022, ChikoritaROBLOXHurricanes announced he has acquired the rights to create a Powers of 10-inspired film, and the project entered development. Principal photography has begun. No red carpets are necessary.
On the same day, ChikoritaROBLOXHurricanes announced that Powers of 2 will be premiered on February 22, 2022. When asked on why he chose this date, ChikoritaROBLOXHurricanes said: "Write it.". The interviewer wrote it, and it was clear: 2-22-22. ChikoritaROBLOXHurricanes then added, "This date only occurs once a century, and I may not be alive to see the next instance of it. Therefore, I am striking the corroded metal as if it were hot. ".
Premiere
ChikoritaROBLOXHurricanes then finished the film, then gave instructions to theaters under a pseudonym called Truman Walden Olson, claiming that the said film will bring boons to whomever begins to watch it on those three times: 2:22 AM, 2:22 PM, and 10:22 PM (22:22) and recommending that the film be showed on those three times for "maximum fortune". Theaters complied with the request, despite initial suspicions.
ChikoritaROBLOXHurricanes then showed up to his nearest movie theater and reserved "a half two-day pass" to a clerk. When asked for his name, he said his name was Tom Walker Owens, and he just came here to watch movies. Little did anyone know that Tom Walker Owens and Truman Walden Olson would be the same person, and that person would be the director.
ChikoritaROBLOXHurricanes watched two premieres, acting as if he was dumb to viewers. When a viewer placed a bet on him, stating that he would win the bet if the movie was made by him. ChikoritaROBLOXHurricanes said this: "You lose."
On the third premiere, the credits of the premiere were interrupted when ChikoritaROBLOXHurricanes screamed: "I am the one who created this!". The applause, which had been relatively quiet, suddenly erupted into loudness. ChikoritaROBLOXHurricanes felt that he had done it; his film was a box office success.
The management entered the third premiere while the credits were playing and took ChikoritaROBLOXHurricanes to an interrogation room, where he admitted that he is the "Truman Walden Olson" that sent those mysterious letters and the "Tom Walker Owens" who walked to the theater. ChikoritaROBLOXHurricanes then said, "Turn it into initials.". The management found out those spelled the word two. ChikoritaROBLOXHurricanes was about to be banned from the theater for shouting in the theater and sending blackmail, but the management later pardoned him as he admitted that he just wanted to do a publicity stunt.
Synopsis
The film begins with an overhead view of the Roblox Sun— a view approximately 0.05 astronomical units across, then slowly zooms out to a view approximately 0.1 astronomical units across. The zoom-out continues (at a rate of one power of two per 1.571 seconds [such that the film ends at exactly 22 seconds later]), to a view of approximately 0.2 astronomical units, then approximately 0.4 astronomical units, and so on, increasing the perspective and continuing to zoom out to a field of view of approximately 400 astronomical units across.
