The Port Sebelsti Presidential Residence is a private complex of buildings located in Zone 28 of Port Sebelsti, a zone designated almost exclusively for military personnel and their families, as well as many top military officials. The main house is unusual among buildings in the city, because it predates Port Sebelsti’s construction by almost 70 years. The complex is best known for being the residence of the President of Sebelsti. The house was originally built for a private owner, but when Sebelsti became independent in 1935, the house was converted into a retreat for government officials. When the National Party took over in the 1982 Revolution, the house became a summer residence for the president.
