The music for the 2022 animated apocalyptic horror drama television series Piggy was composed by Johann Cole and Jacqueline Webb. The series' music and songs were written and composed by both of them, and it was based on the horror computer game of the same name, which in turn was based on the children's television program Peppa Pig. One to two original songs, including "Traveling Time," which was utilized in the game, were included on the soundtracks for all three albums and were written by Johann Cole and edited by Norman Bradley. For the series, several of the character themes were also utilized, including George's theme.
Shortly after being selected to write the music for the television series Piggy, Johann Cole and Jacqueline Webb started work on the score. When they were writing, they included the most of the video game's themes and utilized them to "drive the story" forward while attempting to give the game some scary overtones. The soundtrack for the first season was made available on December 9, 2022, the second season's album was made available on December 21, 2023, and the third and final season's soundtrack was made available on July 9, 2024. Overall, all three soundtracks received critical acclaim from music critics and fans of the video game.

Johann Cole and Jacqueline Webb wrote and composed the soundtrack for the television series Piggy. On November 4, 2020, it was revealed that Johann Cole and Jacqueline Webb were to be the composers and writers for the series.
Thomas asked the composers he chose to "redo the music," but to make it better than the soundtrack of the video game. Johann and Jacqueline both took part in the game when they were creating the soundtrack, albeit they mostly listened to the album's "short themes" section. Although the music was "wonderful," Johann supposedly informed Thomas that it was far from perfect and that it would be extremely useful to redo it in a much more melancholy tone. Before they started working on the music, Thomas let the two of them listen to the song "Traveling Time," and they both started sobbing as they did so. The series' opening episode focused on a tone that was far more "accommodating" and "at ease."
Johann claims that without that mood, the first episode wouldn't work at all and would be more difficult to watch, especially starting with the next episode. If "the atmosphere was very serious even before the other episode began," the episode wouldn't be effective at all. The most prominent use of character-specific tunes was Piggy's theme. The theme song from the kids' show that served as the game's inspiration and foundation was used early on in the video game's growth and development.
After hearing the themes, Johann made the decision to use the same song in its original form, but with a few slight adjustments to make it spookier and darker than the video game. The series also included a few other themes, such as Badgy's and Grandmother's. Although the program is a post-apocalyptic horror thriller, there is a significant musical component in several of the episodes. Notably, one of the episodes, "Merry, Merry Virus," featured a song in which Pony and Zizzy dance to Christmas music with the other characters to get into the holiday spirit despite the outbreak that is occurring outside.
