Special Containment Procedures
RSCP-020 is to be held in a standard special containment locker named Site-77. When being used by site personnel, one standard test chamber may be used. No personnel above D-Class are permitted to view RSCP-020 when it is in an active state. In the event that personnel do view it, they are to be given psychiatric evaluation, with further action taken at the discretion of the site director.
Description
RSCP-020 is a solid state drive that possesses a manufacturer's mark and other labels. When it is in active state, it boots to RSCP-020-1. The solid state drive was recovered from a rural home in Jarison, Robloxia. It came to the Foundation's attention after a male Robloxian child was affected by RSCP-020-1. Investigation into the child's home showed that RSCP-020 is a gift that the child's father gave it to his son. RSCP-020 was classified as a Safe object.
RSCP-020-1 is a Robloxian eponymous video game and quickly gained Robloxia-wide popularity. It was released on Robloxia's government website in August 9, 2014. The goal for the Robloxian is to survive one night at Jarison while avoiding getting caught and killed by the animatronic Robloxians and tracking their movements via the small town's security cameras. The Robloxian is the main protagonist in this game, acting as a police officer employed by the government of Jarison. It's been called the "scariest game in years." On February 6, 2015, it leveraged to the top of the Robloxia government website. It has racked up millions and millions of views/screams on Bloxtube. It has hundreds of instances and dozens of theories made by Robloxians. It appears to have being based of what happened in Jarison in 2011.
However, if a subject ( presumably a Robloxian child ) under the age of 13 plays RSCP-020-1 with no accompanying guardian subjects, a different instance will be played instead of the original instance. As the unguarded subject advances through RSCP-020-1's content, the animatronic Robloxians will not only use their traditional methods of catching and killing, but also intentionally and procedurally generate graphical errors and obfuscate graphics to prevent the unguarded subject from progressing. During this time, the subject will experience mental degradation. If RSCP-020-1 is played multiple than once in succession, the unguarded subject will have reverted to the mental capacity of a prepubescent.
Such subjects will appear to retain memories of their life prior to using RSCP-020-1, although their understanding of these memories is limited. They will make frequent references to themselves being "broken", "empty", and "animatronic", and if given the opportunity will attempt to utilize RSCP-020-1 in order to regain lost mental capacity. Testing has shown that RSCP-020-1 does not affect Robloxian child subjects after one game's worth of exposure, and will play the original instance when utilized by these subjects.
