Omonteez Adam Wright Jr. (Born December 4, 1994) Is a convicted shooter, most notable for killing rapper Lyonel Khalil,  (Professionally known as K-Murda). He is originally from Fort Cyprus, Bloxas, located in North Bloxas. He committed an armed-robbery and first-degree intentional homicide on July 5, 2019, at age 24, alongside three others: Trayvon Cobb, (24) Jumon Simpson, (22) and Trever McDaniel, (19). The four of them had recently been released from The Blorida Department of Corrections, after their 5-year sentence for a home invasion had finished. A few days prior to him shooting Murda, he had recently gotten a job as a fry-cook at a commercial Nomburger Restaurant. After his trial concluded on April 25, 2024, he was sentenced to 2x Life Imprisonment without Parole, and an additional 90 Years. 1 Week prior to the murder, his mother, Brianna Floyd, died due to Lung Cancer.
Early Life And Education
Omonteez Adam Wright Jr. (Born December 4, 1994) in Fort Cyprus, Bloxas, to parents Omar Wright Sr. and Brianna Floyd. He was born to other brothers, named Calvin and Michael, who, were his older brothers. His family later moved to Bloxpiter, Blorida, where Omonteez would take part in several crimes over the years, however, he was only sent to a juvenile center in response via Del Rey Beach County response. He was sent to nine different juvenile centers, in roughly fourteen instances throughout 2010-2014. He was officially busted alongside seven others, after a home robbery in Miablox, Blorida. He robbed a mansion alongside seven others as a get-away driver accomplice; they even had robbed celebrity' mansion Rachel Blox's 4.5 million R$ home on Miablox Beach. He was later sentenced to five years, at age nineteen. Since he did not partake in the property destruction, or grand theft of the home's assets totaling 2.25 million R$ in value, he was let off on a lighter sentence, alongside 20 days probation, which he ended up breaking on July 5, 2019. He attended Davis High School in Del Rey Beach, Blorida, where he graduated in 2012, but did not go to college or university, but instead, sticked to his life of crime, and gang troubles. He had joined a local gang, and began to do minor crimes, up until the house robbery in 2014.
2019 Shooting Of Lyonel Khalil
On July 5, 2019, Omonteez Wright Jr. and three other gang-member accomplices, Trayvon Cobb, (24) Jumon Simpson, (23) and Trever McDaniel, (19) began to follow Lyonel Khalil, (Professionally known as K-Murda,) when he had stopped at Minnecana Premium Outlets. From there, Murda would proceed to pick up a 30,000 R$ Watch he had purchased online, and to pick up, whilst the four men in the car, are seen walking into a mask shop, and purchasing 4 black ski-masks. All four of them bought identical Nike Tech pants, and shirts. At around 2:49 PM, he begins to follow Khalil in the black SUV after he left the mall. According to a Khalil's uncle, a passenger of the vehicle, Khalil had knew that they were following him, and stated, "What are they following me for?" A few minutes later, Khalil withdrew 30,000 R$ in cash at an ATM, to allegedly rent out Jet ski's in the afternoon. and he would purchased drive through food with the uncle/passenger, Jerome Goodwin (42) After Khalil had finished getting food, and was pulling out the driveway, The Black Rented SUV, that was being driven by Omonteez Davin-Adam Wright Jr. (23) pulled in front of his vehicle, blocking him. Cobb and Simpson began to aim their guns at Khalil, while the driver that was behind him, had fled, and his uncle/passenger, Jerome Goodwin (42) fled the scene. Which left Khalil in the vehicle, with the car's right door still open. Simpson was on the right side, on Khalil's side, pointing the gun at him, and Cobb, on the left side, was aiming his gun at Khalil. Simpson, proceeded to steal the 130,000 R$, on his side of the car, and put it into a duffle bag. Wright Jr. Then, aimed his gun at Khalil, and demanded for Khalil's 30,000 R$ Watch, a CCTV Video, taken from a local street pole,
showed Khalil not resisting, and handing Wright Jr. the 30,000 R$ Watch, afterwards, CCTV Video caught Wright Jr. Shooting Khalil 5 Times, and Wright Jr. Cobb, McDaniel, and Simpson, proceeded to get back into the Black Rented SUV, leaving Khalil to die in the vehicle. He later Testified In Self-Defense, that he simply shot him because he resisted robbery, however later evidence, showed that Khalil did not resist the robbery, and was shot unprovoked. The murder took place in Farmington Beach, Blorida. (Note this is taken from the official police report) Wright Jr. and Cobb were arrested on July 12, 2019.
Court
On April 25, 2024, At age 29, he was officially sentenced by Farmington County Police, with 2 Life Sentences Without Parole, and plus an additional 90 years. His, Cobb, Simpson, and Cobb's trial was supposed to happen in 2020, however, after COVID-19 Delays, and many court scheduling delays, they were sentenced nearly-5-years after the homicide of Lyonel Khalil, (K-Murda) Since the homicide occurred on July 5, 2019, in Farmington Beach, Blorida. He was arrested on July 12, 2019.
