Life

Early Life

Olly Weston Gray was born on March 18th, 1962, in Brookhaven, Robloxia, to Christian parents Robert Gray and Greta Gray (Nee: Volcadouciz), His father worked as a psychologist while His mother was a former Regional Model. When he was 3 he had a sister named Darlene, shortly after Darlene's birth, the family moved to New Blockers City, Robloxia, where the entire Gray family would reside for the rest of their lifes, from 8th grade Olly went to a Catholic School however he realized that he was sexually attracted to other teenage boys his age, after finding out it was a sin in the bible he rebelled against the school dress code and frequently questioned the ministers teachings in prayer hall, He was expelled from school in 1980 before his family forced him out of their house, Olly would then go on to open mics around the area where he sang with an accompanied bass guitarist, after several frequent sessions at the open mic he formed a two person band with the accompanied bassist (Flake Richards) in 1982 called: The Sweet Baritone Yorkers. They soon started a sexual relationship. He shared an apartment with Richards for 6 years while they performed in multiple venues (sometimes up to 4 different venues a night) to support themselves, the lineup continued until 1988, when financial stress led to the bands breaking up and falling out, Gray moved into his own apartment and worked in a warehouse for a year before working again towards his music career.

Lineup and work with Spin (1989-1993)

in 1989, while Olly was working at another Open Mic, he watched a band called "Decapitated Garden Gnomes" a 3 person lineup consisting of Robert Tree, Gerald Erskin, and Robert DeSilva. (the latter played guitar, while Tree played the drums and sang) during the aftershow, Gray walked up to them, asking if they needed another vocalist, the band feeling it was obscene for a drummer to play a part as a lead vocalist, agreed to let Olly attempt a show with them.
