Oil Rig is a micronation in the Telamon Ocean. It became independent in 1991. As of 2025, Oil Rig has a population of 40. Its capital city is also called Oil Rig.
Background
Oil Rig was founded by Daniel Jayoni on December 10, 1991. The Rig Helipad and Foundation became Oil Rig. Three containers were rebuilt to hotels. Oil Rig has two ways of transportation. Oil Rig Helipad and Oil Rig Seaport. It has one school, which serves about 2% of the population. It also has a restaurant. Each hotel has a prayer room.

Oil Rig has one helipad and one seaport. Oil Rig Helipad serves flights via helicopters to Sauthemptona and Grindavik.
