–OET's Motto, Mentioned by a GFA Weapons Specialist | |||
The Agency of the Global Furries' Office of Education and Training, often abbreviated as OET, was both the academy and training school of the Global Furry Agency, probably located in countries of the Eurobloxian Union.
Potential personnel studied as pre-enlisted and junior recruits before taking an personnel's exam in the hopes of graduating and advancing to several divisions in The Basics classification within the GFA.
Description
The Office of Education and Training offered several classes all split in several centers, with some of the notable centers being: the center of interspecies diplomacy, the center of scientific, the center of advanced engineering, the center of medicine, and the center of combatant.
Entry into OET, according to most records; requires both an approved E0 application, not having any known records that may affect the applicant negatively, and several psychological exams before the applicants are required to complete entry exam, which quoted by one GFA researcher; was a "mountain to climb."
All pre-enlisted and junior recruits live with roommates while staying at the school.
Known Office Centers
Center of Combatant (CoC)
OET emphasized legal combatants through the Center of Combatant. According to their standard training scheme, participants are split into several sections; with a few being the Security Section and Task Force Section. DeJance had worked as a drill sergeant before he later became Operations Commander of the GFA's Security Department. One of DeJance's students was an unnamed Field Officer, who graduated second of his class.
A Furry Task Force private stated that "on day one" of CoC, students were repeatedly reminded and instructed never "in a million years" to associate with temporary allies outside of the GFA as of the risks that the allies "may manipulate the relationship" to turn them against the GFA.
Center of Medicine (CoM)
The Center of Medicine is the main education center where enlisted personnel under medical are taught the usage of specialized medical equipment used by the GFA, and the usage of Project Revival. One of its professors was Dr. Marcus, and one of its students was Gregory Keyal; who later took up the position of the Chief Medical Officer aboard the Alexia battleship.
Center of Scientific (CoS)
The Center of Scientific is the main education center for GFA researchers, where enlisted personnel under scientific are taught specialized subjects under the science umbrella. One of its professors was Prof. Isola, who was a eminent professor at the University of Bloxina before CoS conjoined with the university to find applicants for the GFA Scientific Department.
Center of Interspecies Diplomacy (CoIsD)
The Center of Interspecies Diplomacy is the main education center for all GFA representees sent for talks between species, where enlisted personnel under political studies are taught specialized political laws under the URC. As stated by several GFA representees, professors in the CoIsD are consist of those from the URC and several extra-terrestrial counterparts.
Examination Program
In the OET, before a student can graduate and enter GFA; they must take an special exam known as an Examination Program, which are interactive hands-on examinations conducted by the deans of every center alongside with several center heads within the said center.
Center of Combatant
- Security Section
- Examination for Security Section may consist of auditing, first responding, and/or patrol courses.
- Task Force Section
- Examination for Task Force Section may consist of a field course, tactical response, and high value asset extractions.
Center of Medicine
Examinations for the Center of Medicine may consist of several medical related exams. But on some occasions
- Written Exam
- On most occasions, all compulsory exams are in the form of a written exam to test the basic knowledge.
- Scenario-Based Exam
- On some occasions, the examinee will sometimes take additional exams in a simulated scenario.
- In one practice test, the candidate faces a difficult situation when they must save twenty crewmembers following a terrorism attack on a GFA facility with only a medkit that can only heal two. The goal is to save at most 18 personnel with limited resources. (If less than 18 is saved or all resources in the medkit is depleted before the 18th personnel can be tend to will render to failure.) The test difficulty can vary depending on the injuries to the simulated crewmembers.
- Another variant of this is where the candidate face a difficult situation when they must tend to injured crewmembers onboard a GFA starship following an environmental incident (ion storm ranging from minimal to severe, dark-matter storms causing damages to certain ship components but said ship escaped and survived, plasma-storms causing fires across certain crucial sectors as the ship successfully manage to escape from danger)
- On some occasions, the examinee will sometimes take additional exams in a simulated scenario.
Center of Scientific
Examinations for the Center of Scientific may consist of several science related exams.
- Speech Exam
- On occasions, all exams will include the Speech Exam to test their speech in a conference-like scenario. Similar to Scenario-Based Exam, but focused on speech. Would be skipped if said examinee is unable to speak for explained reasons.
- Written Exam
- On most occasions, all compulsory exams are in the form of a written exam to test the basic knowledge.
- Scenario-Based Exam
- On some occasions, the examinee will sometimes take additional exams in a simulated scenario.
- In one practice test, the candidate must handle and analyse their given samples with extreme care and must identify the specimen with a 99.8% accuracy. The goal is to ensure the identification of the specimen with pin-point accuracy while handing it with care. (Completing it time-wise will sometimes render to failure and will not award extra grading.) The test difficulty can vary depending on the sample given.
- On some occasions, the examinee will sometimes take additional exams in a simulated scenario.
Center of Interspecies Diplomacy (CoIsD)
Examinations for the Center of Interspecies Diplomacy mas consist of several political and bloxlish literature examinations
- Speech Exam
- On occasions, all exams will include the Speech Exam to test their speech in a conference-like scenario. Similar to Scenario-Based Exam, but focused on speech. Would be skipped if said examinee is unable to speak for explained reasons.
- In one practice test, the candidates are tasked to inform two species currently in conflict with each other and to request for a ceasefire. The goal is to ensure the species comes into a compromise without loosing composures. (Demanding will always render to failure due to both species will suspect demands being useless orders and will always lead to the "death" of the candidate due to them being armed.) The test difficulty can vary depending, but will generally give an slight advantage if candidates have a keen eye.
(one example is where the candidate faces a difficult tactical situation against a hostile adversary such as a unreasonable and violent Kitarian.)
- In one practice simulated test, a ship piloted by the Supreme Leader of the Kitarian demands the release of imprisoned Kitarians lest he destroy the GFA starship. The goal is to find a single diplomatic solution without resorting to force. (Offensive action will always renders to failure due to the Kitarian ship is vastly more powerful and will destroy the test taker's vessel anyway.) The test is particularly difficult due to the fact that the simulation pits the candidate at a disadvantage against a cunning adversary.
- On some occasions, the examinee will sometimes take additional exams in a simulated scenario. (one example is where the candidate faces a difficult tactical situation against a hostile adversary such as a unreasonable and violent Kitarian.)
Trivia
- The OET is the only education institute that uses realistic environmental simulators for scenario-based exams.
