The Nuclear Warhead Procedure is one of the three doomsday protocols used by the Insurgency when all operations fail. The nuclear warhead procedure is only initiated when the site status is above high risk and there is an impending riot, attack, or containment breach. In the case of a nuclear warhead procedure, all sensitive data are stored via a dead drop which will transfer into Insurgency's hands via the Secret Service implants. The procedure takes nine minutes to detonate, giving personnel time to escape to the nearest Blackhawk helicopter or blast shelter. In the case the procedure is activated falsely, there is a manual switch in the Omega Warhead Room, which disables the nuclear strike.
This procedure is only to be utilised when all other doomsday protocols fail.
