North Bloxifornia Times is a daily statewide newspaper published in Blackville, the capital city of North Bloxifornia, United States of Robloxia. Founded in 1927, it is the oldest surviving newspaper in the state and has grown into one of the most widely circulated and respected publications in western Robloxia. The paper serves as North Bloxifornia’s primary source for statewide, national, and international news, as well as politics, business, culture, and regional affairs. Its daily print circulation, as of 2025, averages around 320,000 copies, while its digital platform, launched in 2009, has expanded its readership beyond state borders. The publication has maintained a long-standing reputation for serious journalism, particularly noted for its comprehensive political reporting and investigative coverage of Robloxian affairs.

Over the decades, North Bloxifornia Times has played a central role in documenting many of the most significant events in Robloxian history. The newspaper covered major events such as the 1935 Robloxia Meteor Disaster, the 1984 Bloxifornia Bay ferry collision, and the 2025 Bloxburg meteorite impact, providing continuous updates, eyewitness accounts, and government briefings. Its reporting during the 2025 Bloxburg incident, particularly on evacuation efforts and political controversy, was praised by several media critics for its accuracy and timeliness. The Times has also frequently led investigative reports on labor issues, state infrastructure problems, corporate environmental practices, and the performance of North Bloxifornia’s healthcare system. It has built a reputation as a trusted, authoritative news source, frequently cited by officials, lawmakers, universities, and fellow Robloxian publications.

History

The North Bloxifornia Times was founded in 1927 by veteran journalist Harold Sefton, a former editor for the now-defunct Robloxia Evening Post. Sefton, originally from Blackville, saw a need for a reliable, regionally focused daily newspaper that could serve the growing industrial cities of North Bloxifornia, especially during a time when national publications paid little attention to the state’s affairs. The newspaper was first published on June 5, 1927, operating from a small press office in downtown Blackville, distributing only 5,000 copies on its debut day.

Throughout the 1930s and 1940s, the North Bloxifornia Times expanded its readership gradually, covering significant events such as the 1935 Robloxia meteor disaster, major labor strikes in the region’s mining and rail industries, and the rise of local political figures. During Roblox War II, the newspaper gained further prominence by publishing detailed daily war reports and lists of North Bloxifornian soldiers serving overseas. By the 1950s, it had become one of the top five newspapers in the Robloxian west.

In the modern era, particularly during the 2020s, the North Bloxifornia Times experienced a resurgence in national relevance after its extensive and widely respected coverage of the 2025 Bloxburg meteorite impact. The newspaper was among the first to report on evacuation orders and casualty figures, earning praise from readers and public officials. In recent years, it has embraced digital media while maintaining its print circulation, and as of 2025, it continues to publish daily from its headquarters in Blackville, reaching readers across North Bloxifornia and neighboring states.
