Niko Alejandro Alvarez (born April 19, 1997) is a Ro-Cuban professional baseball pitcher for the Seaboard Panthers of Robloxia League Baseball (RLB). Alvarez had previously played his RLB debut for the Campa Bay Rays and lost to the Bloxburg Stars in the 2020 World Series, Alvarez later played 1 season with the Ro-Atlanta Rebels, winning the 2021 World Series, before being traded to the Panthers in 2024.

Alvarez broke the world record for the most strikeouts in a World Series at 19 strikeouts in games 3, 2 and game number 6. Alvarez was also named the Series MVP in 2026, which made him considered one of the best RLB pitchers of all-time.

The Rays selected Alvarez as the 1st overall pick in the 2019 RLB Draft. Alvarez played a key role in getting the Rays to the World Series in 2020, where he made 7 strikeouts in the postseason, and 266 in the regular season. After which, the Rays traded Alvarez over to the Rebels just before the 2021 RLB pre-season, Alvarez later assisted the Rebels throughout most of the World Series.

Alvarez was traded to the Panthers in 2024 by the Ro-Atlanta Rebels during the pre-season to the Seaboard Panthers. Alvarez's best season would be the 2026 season for Seaboard when he made 29 strikeouts in the regular season, and a record 26 strikeouts in the postseason, 19 of which were in the World Series. Alvarez was awarded game MVP after he got a game winning strikeout, beating the Pittsblox Stallions 4 - 2 in game wins, and 6 - 5 in game 6.

Early life and Education

Niko Alejandro Alvarez was born on April 19, 1997, in Columbiana, Ro-Cuba, to parents Maria Hernando and Cristan Alvarez. Niko's father played for the Ro-Cuba national baseball team from 2005 - 2009, where Cristan won the Pan Robloxian, and the Baseball Global Championship in 2005.

At age 7, the Alvarez family immigrated on a boat and moved to St. Petersblox, Blorida. Niko would try out around the baseball little leagues in St. Petersblox, whilst his parents managed a Ro-Cuban sandwich shop. Growing up, Alvarez was a fan of the Campa Bay Rays.

Alvarez began playing baseball as a pitcher for St. Petersblox Highschool in 2011, during his highschool tenure as a baseball player, he threw 249 strikeouts, 25 foul balls, caught 266 balls, and scored 31 homeruns as a batter. Ultimately, Alvarez was drafted to play with the University of South Blorida (USB)'s Bulls baseball team for 4 years.

College career

Alvarez played his first college game on March 17, during the baseball preseason. Alvarez batted for the first 3 innings, then pitched for the final 7th inning, winning his first college baseball game at 4 - 9, where Alvarez threw 7 strikeouts. Alvarez went on to have a great college baseball career, having 787 strikeouts between 2015 to 2019, throwing 275 foul balls, and catching 567 balls, earning a place in the first round pick of the 2019 RLB Draft.

Alvarez was drafted to the RLB by the Campa Bay Rays as the teams first overall pick in the draft, which proved to be successful for the Rays, as Alvarez proved himself to be a standout pitcher, standing at 266 strikeouts in the regular season, and 7 in the postseason.

With Alvarez and a few other great player additions, the Rays pulled 40 - 20, and landed 1st place in the Robloxian League (East) Conference. Alvarez assisted Campa throughout the wild card against the Ro-Toronto Tigers, swiping them at 2 - 0, and Alvarez would get 4 strikeouts in the wild card round.

During the 2020 World Series, he threw 2 strikeouts in game 1 during the last few innings, and got the game-winning strikeout in game number 2 to tie the series 1 - 1. Alvarez wouldn't pitch for the rest of the series, and would mostly bat and serve as 2nd basemen.

In the 2021 preseason, the Rays ended up trading Alvarez to the Rebels in exchange for player Jesse Odom.
