Newark is a small rural city and one of the youngest in its state in the Bloxford County, with around 38,000 inhabitants, Newark has an economy mainly focused on agriculture, being on the banks of the small Newwark Lake, the lake that for most of the year supplies the city's water needs, but when it reaches 2 meters (normal level limit) the city imports water for the lake to replenish
The city's only connection with the outside is the BFX-92, a highway from county, everything that enters and leaves the city is controlled by the city hall, through tolls, Newark also has part of its economy coming from tourism, mainly from chalet hotels in the mountains close to the city.
History
1980-1990
Newark was founded in 1980, when 2 neighborhoods of Makeville, Newark and Ansford separated and created their own city, with around 2,000 inhabitants, Newark only had a connection to the outside through a dirt road, so in 1981, the city expanded the road, paved it and made it a section of BFX-92, a county highway, so the city reached 5,000 inhabitants in 1990 as a rural town, not having suffered from any case of Luobavirus.
1990-2000
In 1991, Newark began to explore tourism as a form of wealth, as the beautiful views of the mountains could generate profits, and while the new hotel was being built there, the city experimented with the cultivation of 10 varieties of different plants, 6 failed, only 4 were successful and began to be cultivated in abundance, they are: Beans, Beetroot, Corn and Lanfruit, a mixture of Corn + Ginger that has a sweet taste, the Lanfruit from 1992 became the symbol of Newark in 1994, 34 chalets belonging to NB Hotels were built in the place with the best view of the mountain, and in 1995, they were opened to the general public, until 2000 it brought more permanent population and new developments to Newark, with the peak being 1998.
2000-2024
During the builderman administration, a series of records were recorded in Newark, largest population in the city so far (40,563 in 2008), best harvest of the year (thanks to improvements in Robloxian agriculture) among others, then, several technological advances were introduced in the city, all streets within the urban area of the city were paved or repaved, but the population decreased due to the exchange of Tix for Robux, which left many people poor, the city hall took 5 months to removing the majority of citizens from that state of poverty, increasing the city's RDI, which reached 0.903 in 2021, the city was left with 30,002 inhabitants in 2023, but in 2024, when war broke out, the city gained an additional 8,000 inhabitants who had fled population centers like Blackville to take shelter in places more likely to be peaceful.
