On August 23rd, 1998, David Haronisoma and Foroe Horonisoma blew up Natcom Building, the headquarters for the weather company Natcom, known for making the visuals for weather reports for news stations. Around 238 people died, most of them died during the initial explosions, and the rest died to gun wounds by the killers. 287 more people died due to their injuries, or because they took their own lives.
Timeline
2:38 PM: The attack starts:
At 2:38 PM, the suspects launched an explosive rocket towards the roof of the building. Another one was launched in order to make sure it was gone.
2:40: More explosive rockets are launched
Around five more rockets were launched towards the building. Anyone from floors 8-12 instantly died in the explosion.
2:43 PM: A police call is made:
At 2:43, one of the workers called the police. The following is the call transcript:
[RESPONDER] This is police how can I help you
[CALLER] PLEASE COME. I AM AT NATCOM BUILDING ON DAVID ISLAND. EVERYTHING IS EXPLODING! PLEASE HELP! EVERYONE IS DYING!
[RESPONDER] Help is on the way, try staying on the call
[CALLER] OK, I will try t-

[RESPONDER] Hello? Are you there? Holy shit!
- call ends by police hanging up*
2:50 PM: Demands are sent
The terrorists demand that Natcom would shut down all operations, pay R$100,000,000, and a free plane ticket to Irabloxia. They would not stop.
3:00 PM: Police arrive
The police arrived to the scene at 3:00 PM. However, their vehicles were blown up.
3:50 PM: The terrorists begin shooting
The terrorists began shooting at the underground parking lot at 3:50 PM, after blowing up floors 4-10.
4:30 PM: Police enter the building
At 4:30 PM, the police finally went into the remaining three floors of the building.
5:00 PM: Shootout between cops
A shootout between the cops happened at 5:00 PM, with the terrorists being able to kill all the police officers, with the last police officer calling for backup.
5:45 PM: More cops arrive on scene
The backup arrives, with more cops in the scene.
5:54 PM: The terrorists are compromised
At 5:54 PM, the cops shot the terrorists, killing them.
