Narubia is a country in Bloxveld, with a population of 23,000,000.
Temporary Notice: This nation is loosely based off the real world Mozambique (which in turn is loosely based on Mozambiiblox). The nation itself can be found in Command Authority: Military Roleplay, which is helpful for finding lore. Robloxiapedia's Narubia's lore is NOT canon to CA:MRP at all.
History
Colonial Period (1498-1975)
During the time that Narubia was a colony of Ro-Portugal, it served as a mining state for the nation. Most of its early history was lost to time, however.
Independence (1975)
After a short independence movement starting in 1971, dubbed "Free Narubia", they were released from Ro-Portugal, and given full sovereignty. Unfortunately, bad actors took over some smaller groups, and attempted to wreak havoc apon the nation for a chance at independence. Many of these groups were formed but only two lasted; the Northern Narubi Liberation Army, centered in Abu Zabad, and the F29 Movement, which places itself in the cities nearby Kisagani. Both groups have a major foothold in the region.
Rise of insurgent groups and Robloxia Involvement (1976-1980)

The NNLA and its sister groups began wreaking havoc in the large city of Abu Zabad, nestled inbetween a small mountain range and a river, making it a highly defendable city, which was proven during colonial times by native forces taking over the mountains to fight Ro-Portuguese soilders. Robloxia, a trade partner which derived most of its natural diamonds from, sent troops to assist the newly formed country in defending itself against the insurgents. They raided Abu Zabad and sent patrols there on a semi-daily basis, often resulting in safe-houses being breached, and multiple KIA on both sides.
Struggle for Kisagani & Rise of the F29 Movement (1981-1982)
As the NNLA began to slow down, the F29 Movement only sped up, and began directly attacking the valuable city of Kisagani using guerrilla warfare and setting up ambushes along the city streets, turning the tourist hotspot into a deadly war zone. F29 began converting makeshift garages into POW prisons inside mountains, complete with machine gun nests, ammunition storage, and horrible prison conditions under the dense jungle canopy.

On May 15th, 1982, F29 soldiers seized the Kisagani Tower Hotel, an up to 7 story tall building complex on the outskirts of Kisagani, and used it temporarily as a command base and POW camp. The following days had Robloxian troops fighting against F29 troops in a deadly siege to recapture the hotel, which resulted in major damage to the building. The following battle and collapse resulted in 98 dead total, for both sides.
Fall of Abu Zabad Green (1983-1989)

On the other side of the nation, the NNLA was wreaking havoc in Abu Zabad Green, a district of the city of Abu Zabad, characterized by the districts's mostly green and blue buildings. Robloxian SF troops were pushed out of the city temporarily, and by 1985 the city was completely occupied by the NNLA. After several airstrikes, in 1989 the NNLA finally retreated.
Peaceful Decade (1990-1999)
After the constant fighting in the 80s, both insurgent groups were weakened and mostly went into hiding to escape prosecution and attack from Narubian and Robloxian forces, thus gave the nation a chance to breathe and fix many of their issues, giving the decade the nickname "Pax Narubia," a reference to the Romen Empire's "Pax Romana".
Attack on the Palace (1999)
In October of 1999, both insurgent groups became active again, and staged an attack on Mekele, the capital of the nation. Almost 75 insurgents raided Mekele and the Presidential Palace, as well as the Robloxian Embassy and Narubi War Department. Thankfully the president was evacuated and the raid driven off.
Battle for Kisagani (1999)
On November 9th, 1999, F29 forces encircled Kisagani and fully captured it, before plundering it of most of its resources, and holding several civilians and government officials captive. The NNAF took matters into their own hands by creating an opening into the city, letting a Robloxian armored convoy to enter the city. When the F29 realized what was happening, they sent in their own armored vehicles to attempt and destroy the Robloxian IFVs. An ambush was set up at the back of the city, which the Robloxians fell for, resulting in heavy casualties on both sides. Although the ambush was largely successful, more Robloxian tanks arrived as well as helicopters and AFVs, the outdated and captured insurgent vehicles fell. After the battle, NNA LT COL Kima Al Bloxia delivered his famous speech.
Current Insurgent Issues (2000-2025)
Currently, the NNLA and F29 are mostly inactive, only taking control of some small villages and hideouts in the mountains. However, they have been a noticeable thorn in Narubia's side.
Founding of the Narubian National Medical Service (2020)
The NNMS and its medical ministries have been supporting the Narubian population and the armed forces of itself and Robloxia since its founding, thanks to the addition to combat medics and surgeons at GFOBs. Several emergency helicopter bases were created due to the NNMS.

Government
Legislature
The legislature is located in Mekele, and is similarly structured to that of Robloxia, as their alliance and occupation had influenced and westernized the otherwise "poor" country, which greatly strengthened its economy.
Executive/Presidential Branch
The Presidential branch, which similarly functions to an executive branch, includes the president of Narubia and control of the armed forces. It also controls the mayors of individual towns.
Judicial System
A complex judicial system, again similar to Robloxia's, can be found within Narubia's government. It includes several smaller courts, leading up to a supreme court situated in the nations capital.

Local Goverment
The local government of each city has a city board, and a mayor to lead it. Moreover, each state has a governor, where every month all 5 governors meet at a national round-table.
Tribal Government & Recognition

The tribal government of both the Mozambloxian peoples and the Naroblox tribes are recognized and even gives their representatives a seat at the national round-table.
Theocratic Aspects
Narubia has an abnormally high Muslim and Islamic population in comparison to its surrounding nations. Thus, many of the local governments decisions are in the name of Allah or their religion.
Military
Narubian National Army
The NNA Is the national military of Narubia, and encapsulates most of the entire military's troops. They are ground based and consist of 95,000 active personnel. The National Army is divided into 2 main branches; being the NNA itself and the NTP, a military police until to keep justice within the nation's military ranks.
Kisagani Commando Force
Due to rising concerns of F29 attack in Kisagani, in 2008 the KCF was formed to defend against attacks and to promote the well-being of Kisagani. A year after its formation a FOB was created for it and other friendly military divisions in the area.
Abu Zabad PD & Civil Militia program
in 1989, the Abu Zabad and Metemena police departments formed both a civilian militia for trusted civilians, and began doing police raids on NNLA safe-houses alongside the military. These raids however resulted in heavy casualties, but were brutally effective. They have been remembered by memorials around Abu Zabad.
Barsa Mercenaries/Pirates
The Barsa Pirates are a hired group of mercenaries situated in the fishing town of Barsa, a heavily defendable city on a beach near the Robloxian FOB. They specialize in naval operations, but can work on land. They started operations in 1981 as an insurgent group, but converted into mercenaries that worked with Narubian forces after an internal revolution in 1999.

The NNN, or Narubia National Navy is the national naval force of Narubia. The force has completed several missions around Narubi waters and near Barsa. It is divided into the main naval command, the Coastal Patrol Unit, and the Specialized Maritime Ops.
Narubian National Airforce
The NNAF, the newest branch of the Narubi Military, founded in 1989, is comprised of older jets such as F-4 Bloxoms and F-6 Rotiger fighter jets, capable of close air support and air defense, crucial for defending against insurgent and outside forces. Although the NNAF is powerful in its own right, Robloxia is the backbone of its air defense.
Industries/Exports
Diamond Mines
In many of the northern cities, several large companies have stakes in the region which hold diamond mines. These include Abu Zabad, Barsa, Abu Melia, and Kisagani. These are large targets for insurgent groups for their high payouts in the black market.
Steel Milling
Metemena is the nation's steel capital. Situated right outside of the real capitol, Mekele, it contains several large industrial districts focused on creating steel, alloys, and other materials. They benefit greatly from oil welling and diamond mining.
