Nahamelo Culture (Telamonian: Momeheu Nahamelo) was a Polybloxian civilization that existed in the Telamon Islands on Manakapa during the late ancient and early medieval periods in the South Costa region.
History
Nahamelo Culture emerged in the 4th century in coastal areas. This civilization was based on gathering. Over time, ceramics began to form there. Larger settlements were discovered in the areas of the current cities of San Fernando, Ciudad Nuevo, Kailapuka and Nahamelo. The culture began to develop and experienced its golden age in the 6th century, expanding to the areas of Holakole. Finally, in the 7th century, the culture died out. It is not possible to clearly confirm what contributed to the end of the civilization. It is possible that it was the result of an epidemic or some unknown climatic catastrophe in the region. Today, many remains of the cultures can be found in the regions of South Costa and Holakole. There are many archaeological excavations there examining the civilization.
