Mothra is a giant divine moth kaiju. What makes her unique compared to other monsters is her benevolence and friendly relationship towards mankind. She is also one of Godzilla's closest allies, alongside Anguirus, Rodan and later Kong. She has a symbiotic relationship with him. She has assisted Godzilla in a few of his battles against aggressors that threaten humanity, including King Ghidorah.
