A picture of the Mostin flag
The Democratic Republic Of Mostin, also known as Mostin, is a country that is located north of Ro-Indi, east to the People's Republic Of Luobu, and south of Tovokia, touching the Ro-Caspian Sea on its west side. It consists of 30 provinces, and numerous municipalities within. The capital and largest city is currently Hamburgstien (HBS for short) (1876-present) with Lepizingi being capital before. The country is the 13th largest in area (studs²), 12th largest in Gross Domestic Product, or GDP, and is the 5th most populated country, with around 230 million people. Its official language is "Mostique" a language made of 20 or so different languages, but there are many regional languages in Mostin, such as Bakhtari, Most, Ghalakhan, and many others.
Etymology
It is unknown where the name "Mostin" came from. Most suspect that while they were setting up the capital in 1634, they asked the people who lived in the land "Where are you from" and they responded with "Most" which in the Most language translates to "Gibberish". Since translation was primitive, they had assumed they were the Most people, and called the people there the Most people. They called the country, which was the area surrounding the capital at the time, Mostin.
History
It is hard to know how long Mostin has existed, since the whole area was divided more into kingdoms, as each tribe had their own language. There is no "Mostin" people. However, it is described as 20 or so tribes united as one country. The first "unity" they had was 1275 when the Kalan Kingdom had taken over roughly about Mostin's size today. The Kalan Kingdom was assumed to be ruled by the Most people since the capital was where the Most had originally lived. The Kalan Kingdom killed many tribes, such as the Bakhtari, Zuchi, and a couple other tribes, reducing their population to around a quarter of what it originally was. This caused a big problem later on of certain tribes dying out in the future.
