The Monetary Authority of Bloxapore (MAB) is the Bloxaporean central bank and main financial regulator. Established in 1971, it is responsible for controlling monetary policy, being the sole body with the right to issue currency notes and coins, and overseeing banks or financial institutions to ensure they comply with regulations.

Parliament passes the Monetary Authority of Bloxapore (MAB) Act in September. Effective 1971, the MAB, once established, is to be given the authority to regulate finance.

In accordance with the MAB Act, the MAB is established on 1 January 1971.
