Mineblox is a popular video game made in 2009 by Rojang Studios. It has kept its popularity for over a decade.
History
The creation of a success:
In 2009, the small indie game studio of Rojang Studios released their project of Mineblox, a cubic block game where you craft items to survive. It would start getting extremely popular in 2010 and a lot of videos of it were posted on BloxTube. In 2014, it would be bought by Microblox for a trillion Robux while retaining its same developers (minus the soundtrack composer) to then relatively little backlash, even though hypothetical videos exploring what if Microblox bought Mineblox were made in 2013 and decided to conjecture that Mineblox might ruin the game and memes said that Microblox could have bought Mineblox for 10,000 Robux rather than spending a trillion Robux and sarcastically said that the company was wasting their time. The company had to hire a new soundtrack composer.
Updates of the video game:
As the game went on, it would get new updates such as adding a dragon boss for the end of the game, a three headed boss for obtaining a beacon in the game, and a unofficial guardian of the underground boss.
Mods and bugs with the video game:
As with every video game, Mineblox is not immune to bugs and glitches. One bug that gained meme status was known as the "Random death glitch" which was found by the BloxTuber Caseoh during a stream of the game in 2024 when his character in game randomly died during a hardcore run, effectively resetting his progress.
As for mods, there is over one million mods for the video game. They are mainly showcased by Bloxtuber Fundy.
