Meaikeke is a type of dish found in Telamonian cuisine. It is a flatbread, similar to pizza, with different variations. There are many types of meaikeke, but a few are known mainly. The main feature that distinguishes this type of dish from pizza is the absence of some vegetables or fruits, using local ingredients instead. More mushrooms are also used and other sauces are added. These dishes first appeared at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries after the arrival of the first Ro-Italians in Telamon Islands.
