Matt Dusek (born February 1975) was the Technical Director and Chief Architect Roblox through 2006 until 2019. He is the second employee to be hired at Roblox, following Shedletsky. He wears his signature hat, The Dusekkar.
Personal life
In 1983, Matt learned to program on the Commodore 64 and the Apple IIe, which would later benefit him in his job at Roblox.
In August 2006, he joined the Roblox team after moving to California. He was excited by the idea of Roblox and wanted to help build the platform with its co-founders, David Baszucki and Erik Cassel.
In May 2019, he left his job at Roblox.
He currently resides in Belmont, California.
